the officiating in this league is almost usually atrocious, are you expecting disagreement?

where's abra and where's gomiamigo, rhetorical questions at this point

phillyboy's posts, when available, are the wind beneath this forum's wings. but this flickering-on-and-off most valuable poster shtick might eventually wear out its welcome, and the award would have to go to someone else who's foolish on first appearance but learned at bill james (plus milton friedman) levels upon closer inspection

when available

apparently hard-to-replace phillyboy internet-flickering-on-and-off shtick doesn't extend to other philly fans in this forum, who seem on first glance to take philly losses like men

(can of worms?: but can we define "man" any more . . .)

I expect the Warriors to bounce back in game 2 but they have some questions to answer. AD is the difference if he goes the distance, GS have no answer at either end. Wiggins has to attack, take it to Bron show the world how old he is. Have to draw AD out of the paint on D, he's camped there and there's no easy finish when he's near the rim.

On offence, Klay and Poole obviously need to be relevant, similar to game 1 would help.

I don't know how GOATcards types out his theses, must be exhausting.

AD will be Draymondgreened, that's how the Warriors will respond.

We just don't know yet which part of AD's body he will aim at.

Draymond on AD. More shooters on the floor so both LeBron and AD can’t camp the paint. Similar to the 4th quarter of last game where LAL looked out of sorts. Also helps with offensive rebounding since they’re taking guys out of the paint and launching from 30 feet.

Embiid playoff averages:

18.8/9.3/3.0 with 4.5 TOs on 46% shooting and 10% from three

Guy is really showing everyone how his fragile ass deserved that MVP.

I missed the game last night unfortunately. Or maybe with that score, fortunately lol. But Horford always gave him problems.

But it's a regular season MVP. I don't think this matters much.

Most valuable player of the least valued period of the season.

Pedestrian player during the most valued period of the season.

Got it.

Embiid career playoffs:

23.6/10.9/2.8 on 47% shooting and 29% from three.

Zero Finals appearances. Zero conference finals appearances.

I'm just saying, MVP is a regular season award. Dirk Nowitzki won MVP and lost the series against the 8th seed Warriors and that's ok.

I think that's why the league created East and West Playoff MVP's to reward postseason performers.

Regular season award that punishes you for poor performance in past playoffs. This will be Embiid’s first and last MVP.

Regularly season MVP has been a sham for a while now, they keep changing the values and IMO has lost its meaning.

Didn't matter anyways, the media would never give Embiid, let alone anyone from Philly, win two MVPs.

I feel Kevon Looney will start but will get way less time.
GS will use draymond green at the 5. Let draymond defend AD and be physical.
Can draymond dont get in foul trouble, that's the question....

I think they don't start Looney will be interesting to see what Kerr does. I'd be surprised if it's not the Poole party lineup.

Kawhi has more FGs made than Embiid so far this postseason. 2 games and 54 minutes less played than Embiid as well.

I’m glad Philly fans had their 24 hours of not feeling like the victim. Time to return to our regular scheduled program before they’ve even handed Embiid the trophy ha ha.
