A herd of deer is probably the most common way to designate them, but it is most assuredly the most boring. To be more deer-specific, the other ways to refer to a group of deer include a bevy, a rangale, a bunch, or a parcel. When using parcel, however, it’s generally going to refer to a group of only young deer.

Maybe they were learning something new.

We are having bus issues. The bus comes at a vastly different time every day. It is supposed to be here at 645am. Oldest was down their by 641am. The bus must have came before then. I had to drive him to school. I asked my husband to please get up and help our youngest finish getting ready. I get home and the kitchen is trashed and his lunch box was sitting on the counter. Husband still in bed. I packed it very quickly and ran it to the bus stop.

I told him I am OK with him failing or not playing well as long as he is out there trying. He has to practice to get better. All the kids missed pretty easy balls. I praised him for cheering people on and encouraging his teammates. Rough night overall. We didn't get home until 930pm. I drank a beer in the shower.
That sucks. They should have a a varsity and JV team if they have enough kids. JV has always been more for learning and improving.

They don't have enough kids, sadly. They missed out on the league because of it. He has an all day tournament on Saturday that I am now dreading.

Bus route drivers are supposed to stay on a rigid schedule. If they begin to get ahead of scheduled stop times they are supposed to sit and idle until they get back on time and then proceed. There is zero excuse for a school bus driver to be early. They can be late but never early.

Do what you want and screw the person you’re supposed to be serving? Sounds like a hospital administrator.

I'm reading this and then the last sentence appears out of nowhere. I pretty much did a spit take as I definitely was not expecting anything like that. Thank you! You just made my morning.

I also feel bad that your son has such low self esteem at such a young age.

He turns 14 soon. I know we are in the awkward years. I wish he had more self confidence.
