Anyways the difference in weight between a 35 and 55pt card would be so small it would be nearly impossible to weigh unless you had some expensive ass fine weight scale
You can buy a kitchen scale that's accurate to the gram for about 10 dollars. Which would be enough to see a difference in pack weight. Go look at the threads here of people getting caught at retail stores searching packs, that's what they are using.

The weight differences are very easy to find out. Some people are even good enough to feel the difference, how do you think backyard break picks their cases.

Curious, do you think Backyard is going to an LCS and buying cases? I don’t care
much for them, but what a preposterous accusation. Is Panini routing hot cases to them? Possibly. They ain’t weighing cases.

So the packs are being sold individually with no chance of an auto, correct? Is that fact disclosed to potential buyers?

It is usually like this for Bowman. My friend used to do that and sell the rest of the packs to a local dealer for cheap. 1 year the dealer told him people pulled 2 superfractors from the loose packs he sold. Just some history. I know it is pretty unethical to sell the packs without disclosing the autos were pulled.

I've never seen a Hobby shop put up a sign on boxes "Auto already pulled"

Did the shop disclose that the autos were pulled?

Was it really worth all this trouble, EsteBAN?
Hermano, PLEASE STOP accusing me of doing such a shady stuff.

NO I don't sell those packs claiming to be a fresh pack on ebay. I never have. That never even crossed my mind. I have a perfect 100% 9500+ feedback on ebay. Do you think I got that by practicing such an unethical business?? So please just stop trying to smear my reputation.

And what do you mean was it worth the trouble? Was it worth NOT opening the rest of 253 packs knowing no autos in there? YES. It was WORTH NOT opening them. That's a lot of time to open and sort. I don't know about you I don't like sorting.

Other than my saying that packs were available for sale I have done nothing wrong here.

For those who saying I weighed the packs. NO I don't weigh packs.

Just PLEASE. I seriously laugh at that. Who does that??? What kind of pathetic people seriously weigh packs??

I simply know where the autos are within a case and I only open those packs. Simple as that.

NO NO NO!!!

I'm not SELLING pack individually claiming that these are fresh off the box pack.

EVERY YEAR, I sell these packs on ebay or privately clearly noting that these are left over packs with all autos are out (12 in a case). So MOST likely zero autos. I have had incidents where the buyers have pulled those ALL AMERICA Under Armor High School on card Autos as extra autos other wise, all base and color refractors.

In fact, I just sold those 253 packs to an individual collector (non blowout member) for close to $1200. He was fully aware that I pulled all the autos out of that case.

I cant believe this thread is still going. This is ridiculous. If you guys read through the thread you will see that this is common practice and that he clearly states that these packs dont have autos in them. I love all the super sleuths in here...lmfao

First of all, don't try to demean someone who uses a scale to find the single pack in a box that has an auto in it and then leave the rest of the packs in the box and then do what you are doing. A "searched" box is a "searched" box regardless of how the pack is searched for.

With that being said, why is everyone freaking out about this being wrong when he obviously let's the buyers of the rest of the packs know that he has already pulled the autos from the boxes?

Right on, always good to see when people are straight up and conduct even hobby business in a professional manner. Unfortunately if the auto packs are in a known location, it’s incredibly easy for less scrupulous folks to do exactly the opposite. Thanks for being one of the good ones though!

It's more of a flea market/swap meet kind of place. I know for sure he will tell his regular customers. Also the packs are being sold from a storage box, not the regular box, and at a cheaper price than regular packs. I am not sure whether he told every customers the autos were pulled but any informed ones would know. Not defending him. Obviously he could have put up a sign.

To OP, there is nothing wrong with selling the packs after disclosing the facts.

It is not uncommon in all sports and even gaming cards to have the hit at the same place. If you opened enough boxes or watched enough breaks online, sometimes you can tell.
