Very true. It takes an exceptionally clean copy and an understanding grader to achieve a 10. None of these surfaces are perfect.

Man, these unlicensed jokers were like, $200 a couple years ago

Joking, but never thought you'd buy a BGS slab. For $1K range that does seem like a good value though, comparatively speaking. It's also not an awkward photo shopped card so that helps!

Yeah I don't understand how anyone ever gets a 10 on a clear.

I didn't buy it, maybe I will go back and see if it is still there. Comps were kind all over the place on 130 point.

I see zero graded sales on VCP. The only two coming up in CardLadder are old:
BGS 9.5 at $405 on 2019-08-08
Raw at $241 on 2018-10-28

It's possible, I just wish I could switch the grades for where I got lucky. No Sho PSA 10 exists.

Not a lot to celebrate taking a beat down on the road, but 3-5 with 2 SB to fill up the stat sheet helps. that's the second double steal with Rendon too. Appears he's being more selective in running but it's good he's running again.

.869 OPS with 6HR/5SB ain't bad at this stage of the season.

3 hits and 2 SB followed up by HR #7, Shohei did a nice job of raising his OPS back up to .900 from the .7xx range quickly.
MVP year for sure, Cy Young would be a nice bonus
