1 case of bowman 2023

I opened 1 box and noted where the auto was and opened the pack in same location for each box for the rest of the case and indeed I pulled an auto from each of those packs. This has been this way for as long as I can remember.

Probably weighed the packs. There's 12 boxes in a case and 288 packs, so 35 were opened with 253 remaining with all base cards most likely.

Man, that sucks that you only got 1 #'ed parallel and 1 autograph in one of those boxes. My guess you probably missed a color parallel so you should go back through those 253 packs and reweigh them, because you don't want to accidentally sell a Superfractor. Then I can offer you $10 shipped for the remaining 252 packs of base, so you do not have any concerns of me pulling any good cards.

I hear you and they might have indeed been "searched." But I've known estebahn on here a long time, done transactions with him, etc and I think it's likely it's as was suggested a moment ago: he opened a full box, saw where the auto was and (like it often is w/Bowman cases) he opened that pack in all other boxes and left the remaining packs unopened.

Would I assume that w/some random person? Not nearly as likely. But this is someone we know and, for better or worse, I don't think he's being deceptive or trying to hide anything at all. I believe there are parallels and all other "non-auto" cards in those packs and that they were not weighted...he just went after the autos because that's what estebahn historically has gone after.

So if all of that is the case...yeah he broke the rules here but I don't think he's trying to be dishonest about what he's selling or the value of those packs. That said......if all of this is the case then it does make me question why he didn't just say, "I opened the first box and then opened the similarly positioned auto pack in all other boxes, leaving the other 253 total packs unopened." Still wouldn't have been legal here but woulda been more forthright.

What was so bad in many ways? That I’m selling packs? That I’ll take the full blame for doing that. That was my bad. But opening just packs where I know autos are based on a simple pattern? I don’t see anything wrong with that

What did just cross my mind is the color is usually in the same spot (or close) per box. If he also picked off the colored chrome parallels that sure as hell better be disclosed as well...

If this is the case all colors are in there. I opened 1 box and the auto was in 4th pack from top in left bottom pile. So opened that spot only in the rest of the case. I did not touch the rest.

For what it's worth I'll go on record here as saying that I believe him in this. estebahn's been an auto guy only here for years, you can see the perfect feedback and he's always been on the level. Small mistake about where to sell the packs but I think that's the only thing and we can move on now.

Not sure but I would think my top 5 autos will bring back around 2k? I will most likely grade then however. We shall see And I paid 3300 for the case from blowout.

I don’t see anything wrong here. He pulled all the auto packs. They are in the same position every box. It’s been like this for years. If you didn’t know that then you’re obviously new. The packs youre buying still has paper and chrome non auto parallels. Anyways the difference in weight between a 35 and 55pt card would be so small it would be nearly impossible to weigh unless you had some expensive ass fine weight scale
