My boss is going to allow me to telework the day after my wife's surgery so I can attend to her needs.

That means, I'll only have to go into work 2 days that week in May since I'm already scheduled to be off on that Thursday to go to Harrisburg for the Fire Rescue Conference Move-in there.

And this is why for the first time going there, I drove down to the stadium before dawn instead of walking like I usually do. I also didn't walk to the mall for dinner Saturday like I normally would.

Noah is a kid on my Son's team. His Stepdad is the head coach. His real Dad is the Assistant Coach. Dad is dating a woman he used to date in high school. Mom hates this woman (my guess is she may have suspected he cheated with her when they were married). Mom hates real Dad. Stepdad gets along great with both of them. I can only imaging the heat he gets at home from his wife for that.

And of course I know all of this thanks to my chatty Cathy wife who talked to the girlfriend on Opening Day and of course had to tell her our story too.
