His stats this season are good but making the jump from AA after being drafted a year ago seems fast, curious how he will do.

There is now more incentive to get guys up faster. Depending on what they place for ROY/MVP voting (may be others too) they will get extra picks or money if it is their guy. Smart to do by MLB to get guys up faster.

Not being a smart arse - I don't understand the ruling on that... How is it better for a team to bring guys up? Compensatory picks for those who win certain awards?

Yea, I don't know the specifics, but like if a guy places top 3 in ROY they get a Comp Pick for it (maybe top 5 or top 10)

Plus they are guaranteed a full year of service if they finish that high. Basically anybody who has any chance of contending for ROY should start the season in the Bigs.

How did the Orioles screw Adley? He was injured to start 2022. He would have been on the Opening Day roster if it hadn't been for a triceps injury.

They have an era+ of 58 as a team. Next worst was det at 82. They can't keep throwing out what they have been. I mean they could, but they'll lose 140 games.

To start with, he should have been up in 2021. Besides that, they held him down in 2022 beyond the Service Time Manipulation Date to try and avoid Super 2 status.
