I get the impression that some people are selling cards stored at the PWCC or Goldin Vaults on eBay, where presumably upon sale, they're asking for shipment of their cards to the buyer of the card.
Is that accurate? I genuinely don't know whether this is obvious or completely off base. Do any of you do this? Do you know anyone who does? Does it make sense, and is it an OK practice, morally and business-wise? Any help would be great. FWIW, I post this in the basketball thread mostly because the bigger pieces of my collection which are FS are basketball cards stored in these two vaults, where it's almost impossible to get traction for selling unless running at auction. Thanks! |

Sure, I just did this. Morally? What would the issue be?

Totally fair--the only thing I could see is super slow processing from Goldin (PWCC doesn't have this issue). I don't personally see it, I'm just throwing crap against the wall to see if anyone has an issue I'm not seeing.

I think you're just not supposed to have items up for sale or scheduled for auction on more than one site at once.

Yes, and shipping services like SMC or COMC. Here's the kicker - if your item fails authentication for whatever reason, they return it to the registration address, not where it was shipped from...
