Default Has anyone ever negotiated a PSA upcharge?

PSA had a value ($499 or less) submission in QA2 forever and hit me w some up charges today.
One of the cards is probably worth over $499
One is 1/1 and probably not, but impossible to comp.
The last has copies that have sold for under $499.

So….anyone ever proven their case and avoided an upcharge or am I just wasting my time?

Thanks in advance fellas!

Yes, I replied back kindly and just provided some ebay links and that I was curious how they valued it to warrant an upcharge. I was able to get it down to the correct tier on that one. Other times, there have been mistakes where they valued a 9 at 10 prices or something like that and quoted it was an "error in their pricing table", so certainly worth at least a follow up email to try to get clarification.

Yes, they're generally very reasonable, but they do need a pretty concrete comp
