Just mentioning Cousins makes DTMB want to kick a puppy.

Cris Carter played for the Dolphins and spent some time in Minnesota. If he's not a primary Vikings fan, he's at least a secondary one.

OK, vote in favor from Bears representative noted for the record.

As the OP of this thread and de facto Chair of the NFC North Focus Group I have decided that the Vikes' US Bank (a.k.a. Jawa SandCrawler) Stadium is the crappiest NFC North venue.

Da Bears already won it. They already have DJ Moore + #9 Pick and what most certainly looks like a top 5 pick next year. They used their 1st pick well IMO. Anyone they take at 9, will just be icing on the cake.

I am voting Nah, to offset JP's vote. Boo doesn't just get to adopt new teams, cause his original team is a constant disappointment.

No way! Vikings stadium is nice, and one of the newer ones out there. Good site lines as well. US Bank Stadium is top notch. Have you never been to a Packers Game?

No parking lot, I had to park on some dudes lawn. Poor food choices. Horrible High School stadium bench seats. Seriously, who puts solid metal benches in a stadium, that plays most games in winter temps?

All you have is about 16" of space, for your share of said bench. And i was stuck between two fatties, so I maybe had 8 inches to myself. Green Bay is by far the worse for both location (its in the middle of nowhere) and actual venue in the NFC.

Remember that time when many of us were still in elementary school and the Bears has a good team? Most other people don't either.

Many of you were in elementary school, when the Bears went 12-4 in 2018. Won the division and sent 5 players to the Pro Bowl? Wow, I did not know that!

How old were you, when the Bears last played in the NFC Championship game in 2011? Or the Super Bowl in 2007? Still in grade school?

Bears are 3-6 with a Super Bowl appearance since 2000.

Dolphins are 1-5 in the same time frame with the last victory enjoyed by one Dave Wannstedt.

But going from the Dolphins to the Vikings, seems sideways IMO. But if you vouch for him, hes in!

I have been to Lambeau but only as a tourist and not for a game.

Same with Soldier Field.

Attended a game at Silverdome, have not been to Ford Field for a game.

Have never been to Minnesota. Hoping to keep it that way!

Boo appears to be down, 2 votes (Grid, DTMB) to 1 (JP). Need a Packers representative to weigh in.

I've never been to Soldier Field or the monstrosity in Minnesota, but I'd have to wager that the NFC North has the worst selection of stadiums in the league. Lambeau and Soldier have their history but are objectively not nice, Ford Field is a dump (and I say this as someone who actually enjoys spending time in Detroit), and US Bank was a waste of money.

I know this wasn't the point, but I'd actually be pretty shocked if the Panthers pick ends up top five next year. A big upgrade to the coaching staff, more weapons offensively, a worse division, and a presumed upgrade at QB because they couldn't get any worse.

Probably ends up top twelve, but I'd guess closer to twelve than five.

Tell me more about this NFC Championship game in 2011?

I'd agree with that. Having attending a Packers preseason game pre-covid and a Bears game before the de-renovation I say both are historic and both are not comfortable. I haven't seen the new Vikings stadium but I remember being at the old one and it seemed nice enough. Can't speak to Detroit, they are on the wrong side of Lake Michigan.

Jawa Sandcrawler stadium is so nice that the dump needs $280 million put into it to upgrade it over the next 10 years and $48 million of that is right away. Stadium is only 7 years old. If it burned to the ground it might be the best thing as maybe they could use insurance money to build it right a 2nd time.

So you have never been inside any of the NFC North teams stadiums for a game? I vote to strike your comment on who has the best/worst stadium from the record. You clearly get no vote in this.

Worst:

Lambeau Field (Metal bleachers are horrible, no parking and in the middle of nowhere)
Solider Field (The East Side for the Luxory Box area is top notch, as is location and the campus. But the rest of the stadium is junk including most common areas)

Ford Field (Easy to get in and out of, thanks to Detroit being mostly abandoned! Food options are good, and the seats offer decent site-lines)

US Bank (Not just the best in the NFC North, but one of the best in the NFL. That glass roof is awesome, the dining options are great and the layout is nearly perfect for football.
