When will his Topps Now card come out? Want to see if it has "RC" on it or not.

Are we praising him for grounding out into force outs?

That is one of the worst takes I've heard. "He was on base 3 out of 5 plate appearances"

He was 1-5 with a single and a strikeout. Stop the praising of ridiculousness of "getting on base with a ground out"

Now, it's 1 game but it's hilarious to me to bring up him reaching base on force outs lol

Not all outs are equal. They never are.

I am liking that Topps put the RC logo on his Topps Now card, should help with future value a little.

Winfield was one of the greatest athletes of all time, let's not get carried away.

Both infield singles as well. Wild to me that some prospect sites still have him as below average speed. Makes me wonder if they actually do their homework. Also as much as people want to laugh hitting the ball hard even on groundballs has a huge impact and both of his singles yesterday show that.

Jason Heyward especially with the amount of ground balls he's hit thus far. Hoping for the best though.

He's hitting .313 as of tonight. I haven't watched him outside of a few at bats. How good is he in the OF? Can he be average?

He hasn't been the best in the outfield. He's fumbled a few balls and had an overthrow at the plate. He'll be fine with more work there though. He has an absolute cannon of an arm.

I remember Pujols shifting between LF and RF his rookie year. I didn't think he was too bad out there then. I'm hoping Walker is good enough not to be a liability. So he likely slides over to 1B when Goldschmidt retires?

So far the numbers aren't jarring but I really am liking what I see. 10% strikeout rate, .300 average (including a hit in every game so far) and he is tied for the MLB lead in balls hit over 100 mph. Also got a stolen base in there.

Basically everything is great so far aside from a lot of groundballs. If he can get that ball elevated and keep the rest of the stats in line, his potential is massive.

0 walks.

He's 11 feet tall, so he's going to hit a lot of grounders. Always has. Always will.

He's in the mold of a Giancarlo Stanton. When a pitcher elevates it enough that he hits it in the air, it's going to go out. Otherwise, 40%+ are going to be submarine missiles from him.

so far his grounders are at 70%, that will even out. But it won't ever be low.

His arm strength is perfect for 3B but for obvious reasons he won't play there much besides filling in. No reason he couldn't do 1B or DH as well. This season they will likely keep him in RF so he can get better where they need it.

Throw in an RBI double as well. Impressive start to his career.
