High Gloss always tough to come by but nice to have at least one in the collection. I was fortunate enough to pull a 21-22 Lane Pederson YG HG after all these years!

2018-20 were terrific. Great canvas look/texture with the team's cityscape prominently featured. Not sure why UD felt the need to abandon that.

The font, player, and logo the last two years are WAY too big, IMO.

Exactly -- the cityscape/local tie-in is what did it for me.

Now they are like weird portraits of the players. I'm not one of those collectors who likes the helmet-less dude photos around.

Also - I LOVE the on card Gretzky auto - its numbered on the back to 550 I believe....

Neat set but even if I had the cash I'm not sure I could justify going after all of them. Especially since it got the 21/22 S1 treatment with the cuts.

Not basing this on value but Fedorov has one of the best signatures out there.

Compared to the chicken scratch we see today, I most definitely agree.

I can only assume, though, that the cards/memorabilia that any young stars have to sign today is likely 10 times what it was for the the much earlier players?
