Good grief...We get this info 3 weeks out from release, but not a word yet on Heritage? Scratching my head at how Topps is prioritizing at the moment.

But in fairness, I do kind of like parts of the design.

Isn't Big League basically positioned as a set for kids anyway? I mean last year they had value packs with an action figure. Nothing wrong with that Trout card in that kind of product.

For a product that is supposed to be a cheap, kid focused/friendly set, I hate the idea of the base set included 110 short print style cards. 50 Uncommon foils (1 per pack), 25 Rare blues (1 per box), 25 Super Rare reds (4 per case, 1:5 boxes), and 10 Legendary golds (1 per case)

That's a lot of short prints. Wish they would have stuck with the orange parallel set with one per pack.

The old BL logo looked really good. Why would you mess with that? The new logo looks awful.

I always like Big League and am glad they are keeping it. I'll snag a box or two as long as they are consistent with past pricing. I'll definitely pick up an 8-bit set once they are cheap (shouldn't take long).
