Those who opened Jumbo packs and hit an SSP - did they come in the middle of the packs like the other 'hits' or could they appear anywhere in a pack?

Also hit this out of one of the silver packs.

I got 2 Hangars and 2 Blasters from Barnes and Noble yesterday, nothing of any real value outside of a Josh Smith (Rangers) /50 Auto I pulled that might be worth about $15, the only other numbered card I pulled was out of that same Hangar was a /199 of Evan Lee, surprised because in previous years there was always at least 1 numbered or worthwhile card I would pull out of the blasters, I am guessing production is going to go be even higher this year which means the boxes and hangars will be even more watered down, those will in all likely be the only Boxes/Hangars I buy this year as the previous years I wasted so much money on them.

Just from looking at pack odds of items that are specific to hobby and then specific to retail it does look like they have expanded the print run of both hobby and retail (perhaps to soak up demand left with panini exiting the baseball card space). Then to add to that, they are shifting more of the serial numbered cards away from retail and towards hobby and even more to jumbo. So serial numbered cards will be scarce in retail. I suppose retail is more just for set building.

FedEx is such trash. My case was supposed to deliver today. Now shows delayed with no reason given.

If this was a one-off, fine. But it seems like their ratability has been on the downtrend for years.

The shill bidders out in force. Saw a nice Yordan 1988 3 color patch relic /25 at $35 with 8 min left. I bid $40 and instantly out bid at $42 so I bid $60 and immediately 30 se later again outbid so I bid $90 just for hell of it again almost immediately outbid so I said screw it let them have it. 5 min later I get a notification that I won with a $61 bid which means they retracted their last bid when they realized I wasn't going to bite. A bit on high side of what it's likely worth but it's for the PC so it's all good.

Ebay flaw saying outbid when you weren't. $60 bid outbid by the 60.01 bid. Bidding $90 made you high bidder at $61.01....but probably could have said outbid.

Can't retract last second anymore. I think not within the last 24hr. That's why its not possible.

They were supposed to have the rough grainy texture like back of Heritage but they are on the smooth glossy finish like the regular 1988 cards. At least that's how I read it.

You can't retract a bid AT ALL in the sports cards category. Only the seller can cancel it. Are you saying sellers can't cancel bids in the last 24 hours?
