Does anyone still collect/build the original Fleer/SkyBox Autographics sets?

Landed the 1999-2000 Pippen some time ago, but finally got time to post it.



I also got a sort-of 1999-2000 card - Cuttino Mobley.
Though with the 1999-2000 design, Mobley was not part of the official checklist. If I am correct, both Mobley and Jonathan Bender are inserted in a 2000-01 Fleer product (forgot the name). Inserted in the product as well are some "alleged" "back-up" copies of prior year Autographics, such as 'Sheed and Webber.



When first touching it, the card stock of this Mobley seems a little thicker than the official 1999-2000 cards.

COMC had/has some 1998-99 Autographics cards for auction these few days. The Rodman card ended with a pre-tax price close to $5000. Pretty crazy huh?

Beautiful sets! I am working on mine and just crossed the halfway point of the 1996-97 set today (48/95) with the purchase of a Grant Hill.

Was just looking at a 1996-97 Steve Nash Autographics, and I could not see a stamp/seal on the card. Is this an indicator of a possible fake or are there some cards in the set that were not stamped?

All pack-pulled cards from the 1996-97 set are stamped, as far as I know. Might be better for you to ask for clearer pictures if you are interested in the Nash card.

And it's nice that you acquired the 1996-97 McCloud!

It's been a while...
Posted this on my IG for some time, but completely forgot to post it here - I got the 1998-99 Karl Malone Autographics.
Not the most beautifully signed copy, but nailed down one of the hardest ones from this set finally.



If any of you is still trying to complete these sets, how's the progress lately?

When my budget fills up again, I shall speed up building the 1999-2000 set.

I’ve been a lurker of this thread and finally getting around to posting. I completed the 1996 set recently and attached some photos. I’m also working on the 97, 98, 99, & 00 sets. Hopefully I attached photos correctly. I haven’t posted much

I guess that most of us agree that this is still the set to chase among all original Autographics releases.
When I first completed the set about 10 years ago, it gives me more satisfaction than completing the 1997-98 set about 3 years later.

00-01 complete, vastly underrated. Hakeem and Reggie Miller were the toughest finds, especially Reggie which was the last one needed.
