Oh nice, then it's not as bad. I'd still recommend to buy from online sellers as money would be saved.

No doubt, although maybe not too much. I buy more online than I do from the shop, but I appreciate the owner and I appreciate being able to go to the shop from time to time to pick something up.

Once in a while I enjoy being an in-person customer and before I found these boards he was one of the few people I felt I could share my excitement with when I'd pull something fun. I wish it was closer, and I wish it had prices like I see some people list from other states, but it's the best spot I've found for myself in the area and I'm glad it exists. Happy to share the hobby with a shop that feels like a throwback for me.

That's fair.

For what it's worth, I miss my old LCS and would willingly pay a small (not big) premium to re-live the in-person customer experience.

I’m in a one day zone and they haven’t shipped mine yet. I ordered Feb 1. Pretty annoyed if they don’t ship today.

ordered my jumbo case on 1/22. Actually just got the shipping notice from BO in the last hour, and a message from UPS saying delivery scheduled for tomorrow

I feel that. The other stores in the area don't do it for me. Higher prices, more homogenous store setups, a bigger eye toward breaking/their own profit (I get it! It's a business!). I really like the old-school feel "my spot" has. It's a little dingy, a bit on the barely controlled chaos side of things, and their hours can leave a little to be desired, but it feels good to stop in and the owner responds to my emails, which ain't nothing in my book.
