You have had a stick in your craw ever since the Niners blew out TB in the regular season. Niners fans super respect Brady. I was mystified by your one-sided hate.

Ok. So we've got a convergence of "oh look at Frenzy pimping another cursed QB" and "oh god my fellow Bucs are actually buying into this nonsense."

I was starting to think that my usual shenanigans had actually struck nerve and I was really confused.

Except the Bears have been to the Super Bowl, more than once. And the Browns never have. So there is that.

Also worth noting, the most outlandish thing in your hyperbole, is Rodgers winning Man of the Year

Philly boo birds or a bunch of people doing the annoying stereotyping tomahawk chop. Too bad both couldn't lose.

Wow Eagles fans booed the QB of their biggest rival. What a story. Crazy.

No, they booed the founder of Faith Fight Finish Foundation, which focuses on cancer research, mental health and suicide prevention.

They booed the man who donated $1 million of his own money, to improve police training and address systemic racism by bridging a gap between law enforcement and its communities.

Dak Prescott did not play the Eagles on this day. He was not the opponent of their team. He was a humanitarian, here for all the good he has done in the community, and for all the lives he has personally help change.

And the Eagles fans booed him. Crazy, that you would think thats crazy!

They booed the Dallas Cowboys QB. Sorry you are so upset. It's not that serious man, Dak will be OK.

It's a reflection of society, especially sports fans.
Not wanting to start some big debate, just giving my opinion of what I've witnessed/experienced over my 60+ years.
There's still plenty of good people/sports fans, but it's so much nastier now than back in the day.
Yea that's right, I said back in the day.

Might be that people are more sensitive/wanting to be outraged nowadays.

Not wanting to start a debate.

They flipped over a car and vandalized others BEFORE the game even started this past Sunday.

I think his point is showing how trashy so many Eagles fans are. Growing up just 10 minutes south of Philly I can attest to that.

For sure! Just like they want to turn everything into a debate.

We cant collectively decide what is or isn't in poor taste? When something like this happens, and anyone defends it, that's a bad look on them.

Not everything has to be from one extreme to the next. I don't think many are "outraged" at Dak getting booed. But most of us can agree, it does make the Philly fan base look bad.

Just as it does a non-Philly fan, who thinks this is OK to do to someone. Its not a matter of Dak being "OK". Why even do something bad to him, during what should have been a great moment for him for all he has done for others?

If wanting people to treat each other decently is wanting to be outraged, I'll wear that badge with honor.

Agree here, not just sports, either... there is a lack of manners and grace just generally in society. Been breaking down for a while.

Also true, although I don't think that applies here. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I'm not going to boo the NFL man of the year just because he's not on my team, or is a rival. I'll boo Russ Wilson until I'm blue in the face, and clap just as hard when he does something to make the world better. It's just - you're applauding for something bigger than the game. I'm not outraged, just maybe a little disappointed.

Make a second badge for me please.

I can easily set aside my sports fandom for an event honoring humanitarian work of a rival and be disappointed in a vocal minority who can't.

The fans are truly the worst for booing an opposing QB brought out at the halftime of their super bowl. I'm sure they all had the rundown of all his charity work on a piece of paper printed out with them. They read that and collectively agreed they didn't care for it. Then they booed the man.

You're trying too hard here. They knew better, didn't care.

Ultimately, its fine, but not a great look.

Well I suppose if they didn't understand what the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award was about they weren't rude, just stupid.
