No question that's true. But Ja's got 7 inches on him, and that's assuming we believe Spud was actually 5'7" and not standing on his tip-toes when they measured. I'm not entirely onboard with calling 6'2" a "little man" is all

Hard to say… I have a modest Ja collection and really like him as a player, but for some reason don’t find myself gravitating towards his cards or even making a point to watch him play on a regular basis.

For me, I think it comes down to playoff success. The regular season is just kinda long and pointless. We know Memphis is good. We know Ja is good. Let’s see them/him put it all together on the biggest stage.

Ja is my favorite NBA player, and it's not even close. I have not really collected Basketball since my teens, so no Ja cards but I do have an autograph of his. I think the hobby kind of went to Luka/Zion so Ja kind of got overlooked to an extent. If the Grizz can make some real noise in the playoffs I think there will absolutely be a shift. He is a certified STAR, I would say he is about the closest to an Iverson type in some time, personally.

He talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk.

Basically, he acts like he's won championships/MVPs....that's a likely turn-off for some.

This! For all his athletic ability and his superstar status, many in the collecting community view his cards as overpriced, having not won anything.

I sold all but 1, a color match HPS GREEN racked Ice PSA 10. I took my money and moved on.

This is easy, off the court personality. Ja just doesn't have that "it" factor that makes people gravitate towards players like Luka, Lebron, Jordan, etc. Maybe he will get it as he matures and/or has playoff success, but it just isn't there right now.

I wouldnt say hes overlooked. His stuff is a lot more spendy than Zion at this point.
