I finally secured tickets to the Raiders/Niners game!!! We will be in section 128, on the Raiders sideline and close to their tunnel!
I was curious if anyone has experience getting autographs and the best way to do it. It will be my son’s first game and he’s slowly becoming interested in autographs. I’ll provide some more detail for those that don’t know the backstory into why this is significant for me/my family. My dad was a lifelong Raiders fan (as are myself and my son). He was diagnosed with dementia in 2015 and passed away in 2021. We were planning on going to a game in Vegas to see the Raiders in our first home game together, but Covid hit and he passed away without us ever getting to see a Raiders home game together. I’m not making that same mistake with my son. My brother is a lifelong 49ers fan, and my dad left each of us a little bit of life insurance money that we are spending on this game as a family. Hoping it’ll be one we will never forget.

You won't be getting any auto's of current players at the game. This isn't training camp. The only way might be from the teams hotel. And even then they don't want to be bothered. You might have better luck with former players who show up for promotions.

Trying to get an autograph from a current player at a regular season NFL game is near impossible. You would have to revolve your whole game day schedule around it, and even then, you’re looking at maybe a 5% chance of getting an autograph from a player you don’t know, whose signature is just some quick scribble initials.
Instead of that, just enjoy the experience with your son. Sounds like this will be a great memory either way! |

I have heard on the road some players might sign during pre-game warmups but that is not a super common thing to happen. But home games players usually never sign.

Well I'm sure glad I didn't listen to you guys!!! Allegiant opens gates 3 hours before the game. Our section was near the Raiders tunnel, and got a spot where players come out pregame to warm up. My son was able to get signatures from about 15 players, including Davante and Waller who both also grabbed his phone to take a selphie with him!!!

Weird that home players rarely sign at home games for the home fans.
It does seems way easier to get autographs at NFL training camp. NBA is the opposite. I don't think fans are even allowed at training camp. But it's pretty easy to get autographs of both home and visiting teams at the stadium. I actually like going for the visiting teams because there aren't as many fans to deal with. Was able to get Tim Duncan's auto towards the end of his career because there were only like 4 ppl waiting for him pre-game on the road in Chicago while hordes of Bulls fans were waiting to get an auto from Nikola Mirotic. Anyway, OP, congrats! Sounds like you had a memorable experience with your son!

I went to the Eagles/Cards game earlier this season and the players were awesome. My kid got several autos including Fletch, Lane and BG. Also got 3 sets of games gloves. |

Its more of an Access thing - I had great success getting autographs from the Panthers' parking garage on game days (and before/after practices everyone signed - only Cammy Cam would sometimes ignore depending on his mood and Steve Smith was being Steve Smith)

They sign for kids... the stuff from the game belongs to my kid. I would not recommend an adult go and beg another man for a free service. LOL! |

Searching the web and came across your post, I'll be heading to the Pro Bowl this weekend hoping to score some autos also. What did you get signed while you were there?
