Default Received Damaged Cards from Authenticity Dept EBay

Does anyone know what action I should take?

I received damaged non-graded cards from their authenticity department. I called and let them know that they arrived damaged and I had not broken he seals. They started the returns for me over the phone. The seller spoke with them and next thing I know the returns are cancelled. I have no idea what action to take now. It was about $850 in cards. They had removed them from mags and put them in card savers which are too slim for thick cards and damaged the bottom corners.

The seller should have had nothing to do with this. Once they arrive at the authentication location to the sellers responsibility is pretty much over.

Correct. So what should I do as the buyer when eBay closes the returns and I’m stuck with damaged cards? eBay has taken responsibility before like with the global shipping stuff but this time they closed the returns and said I’m not eligible to return the items.

I would call them and find out why it was closed.
