Heck, I've never even paid more than $500 for a card, although several that I own are now worth over a thousand dollars.

$50k card or $50k in cards (one time deal) would be a nice addition to the poll.

Except the poll is about selling a single >=$50k card.

Yes.

And if you count selling something like a LeBron James '03 UD Ultimate Auto BGS 9.5 or PSA 10 (of which I owned 34 of them in total) when they were worth about $5,000 each ... then the answer is hundreds!

Ever bought a card over 50k is the real question (if you could get honest answers). Chance for those always saying how rich they are to literally put their money where their mouth is.

No. $18,000 for the Luck Superbowl Ticket Auto was the only time I've ever hit five figures.

The kind of person who spends that much on a piece of cardboard doesn’t have time to dreg it up with us in some internet forum.

You owned 34 of them in total...wow. That's incredible.

How many did you own at a single time?

No offense but that sounds like an old timer speaking who doesn't understand social media.

34. After LeBron won his 3rd ring in Golden State, I decided to part with them all in a single transaction. 2017, I was happy to take the 400% profit.

Left a few zeros on the board.

Or…… I was just being facetious and self-deprecating, with a tinge of the Office Space “two chicks at the same time” dialogue.

Its more likely, with time, that your 10+ year card collector has spent a substantial amount of money on packs and boxes and blasters and what not and come up with less valuable cards than all the money invested to purchase them. Kinda think Im in that category.

What did you net from that on Goldin? I think he would struggle to get $20k right now personally lol great sale. Still young but nice to not have to take the risk and let someone else.

Josh Allen select concourse black rc 1/1 bgs 9.
Purchased for $525 sold for $69500 to Josh Luber.
Sold Mahomes Prizm Black Finite RC too early. Bought for 4k. Probably close to 2 million at its peak if Herbert sold for 1.1.
Never spent more than 5700 on a card.
