Solt0131, you had some very solid 50 cent boxes. I was there picking for a while on Friday (Jayhawks shirt). Santiago sports had some good stuff in their $10 boxes--I also did well buying from them at the national. Also got some neat stuff from an older gentleman who had an everything's $1 table--really cool non sports tobacco cards.

Unfortunately, a large percentage of value boxes set up at the show were not great. Lots of stuff should've been 50% less. Also, no dealer should be surprised that no one buys anything from their dollar box full of junk wax or their $2 box of jersey cards of total no name scrubs

CSA should be doing this show 4x a year. This 5 month gap is going to be brutal!

Thanks, that will be my plan there going forward as well. I may do something similar at the December Philly Show too.

That would be nice. But three times a year is still decent.

I'm sitting on a bunch of wax and rando cards I'm just accumulating... may be time to set up a table, but have no idea where to start... thoughts? (hoping to be ready for the March show)

Edit: I don't have any $$$$ cards... maybe a few $$$... mostly in the low-end range. Was thinking of doing some $.25/$.50/$1 boxes, team packs, etc...

Lots of dealers there have $1 boxes and do quite well. If it's not junk it will sell.

solt (in this thread) does this very well and is always busy at the Chantilly show. There is a big need for it.

Because this is such a big show, is it crazy to hop right into this one?

Also, I know this may seem like a dumb question, but do folks sell things other than sports cards (can they?)? I have some comics I could probably get rid of... thinking of this as my own personal yard sale 😂
