If they want to enforce stuff like that, they could have employees scanning and bagging your items for you instead of making you do it yourself. I know that's a radical idea though...

It’s easier to hire an old crone to yell at you when you scan your own stuff. She was also screeching at some woman for trying to use a register that was down.

I have gone to a local Walmart recently on two occasions, and purchased 10 and then seven update hangers, and nobody said a word.

Went by a walmart in a small town today and they were loaded down. 20 Bowman Chrome Megas. 20 Platinum megas 10 Holiday boxes, 8 or 10 Update Blasters, 8 or 10 Topps Chrome Blasters. 15 or 20 Stadium Club Blasters. Left it all for the kids. Really put my News Years resolution of busting way less wax to the test thou. Lol.

nope. i personally haven’t bought any junk retail other than some topps stuff in months, but if i was going to buy mosaic i’d buy it from target where it’s $6-7 cheaper with a red card.

The worst thing about Wal-Mart is the stores that still put the card section next to one of those single self-check registers that is always open and always being used by someone with 10,000 items who blocks the aisle so you can’t even get to the cards. I watched one woman stick all the groceries she didn’t want right on the cards. It’s so stupid, because there are like 10 other registers that are never open they could use instead or move the card section next to.

There is one Walmart in my area the stores them behind register where batteries are AND has the shelf facing away from people. Really stupid set up. You can't even make out what they have from the side and when you try, you're moving items from the top shelf to see over it

Our Walmart in La Plata had the 2023 Topps Team sets today. I picked up the Yankees one for myself and the Blue Jays one for my Son. They are now $5.98.

Mine put out 2022 S1 blasters @ $24.95....but it had the "new lower price" sticker on it

Still have a ton of 2022 products around here. Topps Chrome Megas and Blasters. Bowman Chrome Megas, Gallery, Ginter, Heritage, Stadium Club, ect.

I can see fanatics doing this across the board going forward. Start out at $24-29.99. Then drop to $17-24.99 later on the year to move the product.

I haven’t seen a discounted blaster since 2018. They used to be a routine sight on the card shelves; 40% off 12-18 months after release.
