I was under the impression that the "sealed cases" did not have the usual markings with the 10/8 and SKU/barcode. I thought someone said it just had a packing slip taped to their box and you would not know what was in it otherwise.

If it has the standard Topps sealed case markings, then I'd agree that it is a true "sealed case" and the taped-on packing slip doesn't matter.

ETA: only a true sealed case if it has all 10 boxes. What did people do with the Cosmic "sealed cases" that had 10 instead of 12 boxes?

OK put me in the worst two boxes competition:

Base cards - none of the big rookies of any kind. The biggest rookie cards were probably Bryson Stott (RC and Debut!)

Parallels - greens of Orlando Arcia and Josh Rojas, golds of Jurickson Profar and Jason Krizan, and an orange Sonny Gray

I can't believe I stayed home from work to make sure these boxes arrived safely...

My case has two 10/8 count stickers, the FedEx label, and a pouch for the packing slip.

LOL, this is a weird take. Why in the world would this be true?

In my view, the thing you are calling a "sealed case" is actually just a "sealed box". Everything Topps sends comes in a sealed box (all jokes and random anecdotes aside, everything I have received from Topps came in a sealed outer box when I received it). Whether that sealed box is a sealed "case" in the hobby sense of the word is another story.
No, the 10 box orders come in sealed cases. Topps tapes your invoice on the outside of the box. What makes it a case? The fact that it has the topps designation stating 10/8 count and the code of the case.

Haha! They have some strong buy offers on other wax but are certainly low on these boxes.

I wonder what BO’s offer will be.

You sound new to sealed wax if you can't imagine unscrupulous sellers opening their cases and passing off the unwanted boxes in a resealed case. Or worse shorting the number of boxes or putting different ones inside.

Most things don't double in price in the span of 2 weeks. That's a lot of incentive to cheat.

Probably will not have one. They have not listed any products in the buying section for almost 6 months.

Why does that matter? Are you saying this is some kind of reverse pump?

As a victim of resealed boxes myself, I take note when I see packaging that looks susceptible to tampering. You don't have to pay any attention if it's no concern to you.

Couldn't resist so broke another box. Number 7. For a brief moment in time I saw the RC logo, Then the Seattle logo and thought I did it. Either way not too bad.

They probably do have one.

For what it's worth, I've sold products to them over the last 6 months. Even though they don't advertise buy prices anymore, they're still actively buying.

Sometimes, their prices are REALLY strong (e.g., I moved Logofractor boxes to BO at $130 per when boxes were selling for $130-$135 per on eBay). Sometimes, their prices are a little weak (e.g., they're offering $325 per on TC Cosmic boxes when those are selling for $420-$500 shipped on eBay).

No i'm just wondering why you feel the need to complain so much. Do you even like this product?

Welcome to BO!

For what it's worth, Pacmeyer actually makes some valid points. Other members complain for the sake of complaining without adding any other input.

Yeah on places like eBay that take a cut. I'm talking about direct, no fee type places like the big 3.

I'm criticizing the makeshift nature of the case packaging that makes it easier to be tampered with. If even that bothers you, I guess you dropped all your savings on this?

Would people benefit from sending these to BBCE immediately if they plan to hold long-term?

Topps could introduce fancy sealed case packaging and sell with an upcharge if they knew what they were doing.
