Just give the man some sort of help.

Kenny Golladay is making me think Lions Matthew Stafford really was that good.

Don’t look now…

What did Eli do?

Giants should not be a 5 win team, but I’ll take it

Say what you want but Jones continues to help his case for a decent contract this offseason. Whether it’s with the Giants or not, someone is going to pay him.

Love the fact that this season he's outplayed Kyler

Decent head coach and a fresh start do wonders for confidence.

For sure. Gotta give him some respect he’s done exactly what he’s been asked of with a limited amount of talent besides Barkley.

I think that's underselling it, dude is throwing to Richie Jameis and Isaiah Hodgins. Daboll should be COTY.

Actually a very good point. WR was a strength in previous years and now is rather weak. Get him some good weapons and he might thrive. No longer is he the crap QB he once was.

Daboll has my vote for sure. Probably a two man race between him Sirianni. Vikings getting blown out multiple times this season really dampers a good year for O’Connell. Shanahan, Reid, McDermott and Zac Taylor all did what was expected but none of those teams “overperformed” unless you consider the Hill-less Chiefs ( I don’t ).

Edit: After checking the real odds must admit I completely forgot about Doug Pederson and Dan Campbell. Actually a very interesting and tight race after today.

OL is also below average as well. At one point he was the most pressured QB in the league. Have to look to see where it’s at now but besides Thomas the rest of the OL has rated below average.

So Giants will cleary use the FT if they have to on Barkely but to Giants fans think they can sign Jones before FA would start or will either or both sides rather let Jones hit FA to set his value?

It's tough. Honestly, I think they look around and see if there's a vet (Brady, Carr, etc) that they like better. If not, try to work out a deal with Dimes. What makes it tricky is that he's not a guy who you can let eat up too much of your salary cap and like your chances to win with.

But they again he'll have a real chance to prove his worth in the playoff game. It's looking like that'll be again the Vikings (maybe 49ers), who they just played to the wire last week.

Spot on.

Pretty tough decision for the Giants to make because their roster truly isn’t ready for sustained success as it sits right now. Is it worth it to them to have Jones eat up 25-30 million of the cap that could be used elsewhere? That all depends on how good they think he could be with a better cast. He’s obviously proven he is capable of winning games but is he capable of leading a franchise to a Super Bowl? The jury is still out.

For me personally I think if they can get him back on a 3 year deal in that 25/30 range it’s worth it. Along with the tag on Barkley and roster cuts that should still leave them with about 30-35 million for free agency/draft.

He never was a crap qb. I'm a Cowboys' fan, but I saw some definite ability. It's the same story as with all top ten qb draft picks: they're asked to do too much too early. Just imagine what he could be with a couple good receivers, as he's certainly done more with less. And I mean less than any qb in a while, but only pertaining to 2022.

Wentz leading the Eagles to the playoffs with Greg Ward and company is probably the closest thing I can think of recently. Pretty amazing feat for Jones

I grew up as a Giants fan. Have never been a Daniel Jones fan. I think he's a bottom third NFL quarterback. If they re-sign him, I hope they put in a Derek Carr escape clause.

Not a very strong FA receiving class this year, wonder if they go in on Cooks. He could definitely use a guy like that

Jones proved he's legit, wonder how long before NY is able to get him a #1 WR. That bum Golladay has done alot of damage to that team.

Yes. Jones has had the toughest circumstances since joining the league. Management even admitted to doing everything to screw him over.

I'm pretty pumped at all this. Ive been a long-time Jones defender. It was really cool to see toxic-ol NY fanbase chant his name after years of everyone hating on him without context to his surroundings. In fact, I think give him a weapon or two at WR and he's gonna move up the tiers. He is incredibly accurate. That's why he can do this with trash WRs.

I also own potentially THE absolute top non-auto of Jones that exists. 2019 Flawless Red White and Blue Gems 1-of-1. There aren't any other versions or parallels. True 1-of-1. Matchy-Matchy and all that.

Is there a better non-auto out there?

Prizm Black.

But after that, I'm not sure, unless he has a game worn shield out of a premium product like Flawless.

Would love to see a picture of it, because it sounds like a great card.
