I never liked Gobert in Utah and like him even less now.

Was not a fan of what the Wolves gave up for him either.

Seems like most successful teams have those veteran guys that have heart, experience, and grit. We showed them all the door and now we are just lost.

Yeah, no arguments. This season has been so depressing, finally had some hope of doing well and it just hasn’t gone well at all. Hopefully they can make it to the play-in while continuing to figure out how they can proceed in the coming years. Still a lot of big decisions with Rudy / KAT, seeing if those guys can still somehow work together or if they have to pivot and make a big trade again to just reset (as much as they can), and then D’Lo, Naz, and Jaylen Nowell all about to be restricted free agents. A lot of decisions need to be made soon.

NBA is just too stacked these days too. Ant has been doing well, but too many players average tons of points, his 23.5 isn’t even top 20. Feel bad for him, he seems like an afterthought at the moment

Card-wise I’m back to just focusing on my KG PC and slowing down on current Wolves stuff.

Yeah it’s sad Ant-Man isn’t the focus of the offense just an afterthought. He gets his touches here and there. Russell has to go and have Ant be ball dominant.

The problem for the T'Wolves is simple.....KAT isn't good enough to build around. Neither is his childhood buddy Russell.

Try to build around the wrong players, and you end up with an unstable house on a weak foundation. Not all that different than the Hawks with Trae Young.

In the last 10 games, Edwards has a usage rate of 29.6% which is the same as Jokic over that time span. We are seeing what an offense run through Edwards looks like and it has resulted in a 6 game losing streak.

Tim Connelly really speed-ran ruining one of the most promising young teams in the nba, only took him 1 offseason. Terrible team w/ no future picks and one of the worst contracts in the league with Gobert. I truly don't see any way they turn this around within the next 2-3 years and by then Ant will have probably requested a trade.

They're obviously a better team with him than without him, but my point is that he is not good enough to build a championship contender around.

He's good enough to help you win a playoff series every now and then, perhaps, but no team is ever going to win a title (or even make the Finals) with KAT as it's key player.

Starting to feel like a special season. We've got a good stretch of games against playoff teams coming up which will be a good test, but overall this team has looked like a legit contender so far
