For someone that wants everyone to believe they are so enlightened, you don’t grasp the small things do you? When have I ever said I disliked Luka or joker? Nuggets and mavs are at or near the top of their conference, I have absolutely no problem with them being included in the mvp conversation. My problem in years past is when you and others push for mvp when they are not winning.

Can we just appreciate for 1 day the fact that the Mavs/Luka were pretty much dead/written off about 2 weeks ago before he's gone on a historic run with half his team injured who weren't even that great to begin with?

Dallas is now currently in 4th place, 6 wins in a row with Luka averaging 45.6-11.2-10.2 over the last 5 games

Lol what? Luka isn't a winner? Part of the problem is that Luka is taking these garbage rosters to the playoffs and negating any chance at solid draft picks to build organically. Oh, also once he gets to the playoffs he's objectively one of the best ever individual players.

It's time? When did LeBron win his first? When did MJ? I'm sure if Luka were playing with DWade/Bosh, AD, or Kyrie/Love in their primes, he'd have a championship and be a favorite for the foreseeable future.

It’s been a good run. Weak schedule, but have to be pleased regardless given that they’ve been so prone to dropping games against teams they usually lose to.

Bullock and THJ are both shooting much better. Dinwiddie looks good. Starting Wood and giving him more minutes has been the difference maker. Hopefully DFS comes back strong. Defense is still piss, but I guess that’s the case for most of the league.

I will tell you this. If DAL doesn't quickly sign Wood to the $77 million 4 year extension he just became eligible for and the situation plays out last year like Brunson's. I will punch a hole through my tv screen.

They are not going to find anyone better at his position for the price. Or unless they want to pony up $40 mill a year and somehow find another superstar at his position to replace him. Unlikely there would even be one available.

I haven't seen that but you might be right. What i read was from a week or two ago at the time. Either way i hope they don't cheap out like they did with Brunson.

I have this terrible sneaking suspicion that maybe it's the reason they've held him back to this point so they could sign him cheap to that extension to the detriment of their own team. But now that he's been forced into the starting role by default and the team is winning he could be weighing his options and saying hell naw i aint taking that deal i could probably get close to double now. Or that's what his agent would probably advise him. We can just hope for the best that a reasonable deal gets done before it's too late i guess.
