Can someone please explain the difference to me with these two cards? They look exactly the same but one is to 673 and the other is to 373. Thanks!

Refractor, silver refractor. Did they make them look different in past years? |

Here are the backs. Last I collected these was 2018 Acuna. He had a /999 and a /569 but they look completely different.

What a joke Topps is, guess I'll just go for the /373. Gotta have one of these beauties.

There was a difference between the /673 and /373 in the regular 2022 Heritage set. The cards you showed look like the /673 "refractors" that have traditionally been included in previous years. The "silver" /373 are less metallic looking than the "refractors"
The /673 is in the upper right and the /373 is in the middle square.

One is chrome, one is a chrome refractor. Pretty straightforward, not sure why others are questioning it.

That is what they are supposed to be genius, but they aren't. The 2 Julio cards shown are both refractors but with different numbering. That's why people are questioning it.

Agreed. The top card in the front pics has more rainbow than the bottom pic (right border) - it’s the refractor and the other is just a chrome. The /673 card in the back pics has “refractor” on it; the /373 doesn’t.

No I didn't. Show me where I said that.
"Silver" comes from the Beckett set details description. https://www.beckett.com/news/2022-to...aseball-cards/ |

If the /373 was the correct silver chrome, it would be noticeably different than the /673 refractor. |

I was talking about the Lindor cards I posted.
Here is a synopsis of what things are: /673 = chrome refractor /373 = silver chrome The silver chrome has no rainbow (ie it isn't a refractor) in the Heritage set. Although the pic doesn't do it justice, this can be seen in the Lindor pics I kindly provided as reference. The 2 Julios pictured are both chrome refractors although one should have been a silver chrome. The OP confirmed in hand that the cards look identical (and they shouldn't) Here is another example of a /373 Julio that should be a silver chrome but isn't, you can clearly see the rainbow. https://www.ebay.com/itm/11563073605...Bk9SR_7L_LusYQ This is a Topps mess up Last edited by rfgilles; 12-30-2022 at 10:59 AM. |

Haven't you put me on Ignore like 3 times now? Here is another pic of the Lindor /373 silver chrome, that I am kindly providing you as a parting gift. There is no rainbow because it isn't a refractor. https://www.ebay.com/itm/33455392146...Bk9SR5T1p7ysYQ Last edited by rfgilles; 12-30-2022 at 11:06 AM. |
