National Treasures Or Eminence Mbappe

Hi everybody on on the board,

I have no skills with soccer cards but I have the funds to buy one good Mbappe card.

I have two options: National Treasures Or Eminence both with auto on card.

I don't know what is better for value in the future ? :S

If anyone can help me it will be nice

This may be the only sport where national treasures wouldn’t be the premier brand. I think Eminence is the more desirable and better looking set between the two this year

Toss up but slight lean towards National Treasures. It has a longer track record.

That is probably the safer bet.

In soccer? 100% emminence.

Eminence is the top set for soccer, followed closely by flawless.

Below that there’s NT, impeccable, immaculate and noir.

Other than that there is once every 4 years prizm WC set that can be valuable

Considering the prices, I’d actually go with the first on card auto of the Topps PSG chrome set.

Definitely a great third option to throw in there. I'd pick that or Eminence. I don't think any of the options will significantly outpace the others investment-wise, so I'd suggest just picking whichever one you personally prefer OP.

I love both and the Topps Chrome is a nice option too.

I PC mostly Basketball, Baseball, Football and Hockey. Soccer it is just to made some profit in future

I am not up on my soccer desired sets.

If this is the case I change my answer.

100% Eminence

If investment value is important than I would not put a lot of consideration into any lean towards personal preference of how the card looks.

The NT cards do look awesome though.

Eminence has only 64 cards but you'll definitely be shelling out over 5 figures for some time for them as very little product has been opened it seems. The one sale on Ebay was $5500 but the auto was badly smudged. I don't see that happening again for a nice copy.

NT is about roughly $1-2k higher than Chrome if you compare the Chrome /75 Refractor raw to the NT /99. I'd much rather have the NT then Chrome. The whole "first" doesn't really matter to me. It's not a RC and even then I think it's a silly way to try and inflate value in the hobby.

Eminence >>>> NT>>>>Chrome as I see it.

Panini will be putting his auto in a lot, as well as offering signed memorabilia in the next month on their website. I expect his auto prices to drop before they get higher.

But if you really got a hole burning in your pocket.

I would go with Eminence.
1st auto doesn't hold much weight with soccer collectors.
Eminence will always carry a premium.

The best example of this is Beckham. His autos can be had for a fraction of what they were when he recently started signing for Panini. For a while, you couldn't get one for less than 1500. Now he's got a ton of stuff sitting on the panini website and prizm autos cheaper than 300.

Folks thanks a lot for the huge help with nice and good advice. I don't have money for Eminence over 10K and the only one was sold a couple days ago so i bought the NT /25 Auto PSA 8.5

It is not the best card or set but i have one Mbappe in my PC right now

I like vertical cards too. I have two High End horizontal cards on my PC. I'm not a huge fan of Ebay but I have buyer protection too much scam on the Bay right now.

Vertical certainly look better graded, but some of the nicest cards are horizontal. Messi Spotlight Noir, Sadio Mane 2021 Stadium Club, Impeccable Club History cards, Eminence Unmatched, most of the Flawless patch/autos.
