Straight up mercenary assassin just like Jeff Saturday. You need a win against Josh McDaniels, grab a dude off the street.

He'll be an answer to random trivia questions 20+ years in the future.
And as a Heisman Trophy winner.

One of a handful of mediocre QBs that beat the Steelers and Tomlin in the playoffs.

Here’s looking at you Tebow and Gabbert.

He made fun commercials but in truth he really did live in the stadium.

Baker Mayfield has FIVE threads with his name on it on the first page of the Football Board & that is how he will be remembered.

You don't see that with Case Keenum

I don't we've seen or will see another QB that can trigger grown men the way Baker does.

Since there are plenty of Baker bros out there to offset I think the nice word for that is polarizing.

Genuinely curious how the public would put together a top 5 most polarizing QBs of all time list.

Oh I can think of one who is a guaranteed vitriol creator and makes Baker seem tame in comparison. Here's a hint:

Packers DC's HATE Him! 49ers QB exposes shocking secret to victory. Learn this one WEIRD trick to his stunning playoff results!

I'll remember him as the guy who proved that even a terrible NFL QB can put together a good 3 minute stretch in a game

Regardless of what he has done in the past, I applaud him for first giving the Raiders playoff hope before pulling the rug from underneath them in the last minute.

He could have a Doug Flutie like career if he ever develops a reputation as a good guy to have in the locker room.

Way too early. Imagine making this thread about Geno Smith 5 years ago. Went from rookie bust, to bench warmer, to Top 5 QB stats. Geno is 5 years older so I'd say the answer to your question is anywhere from bust to legend.

Hes so good, yet really bad at times. His throws at the beginning of the second half yesterday were honestly so bad that I turned off the TV...yet he had a huge comeback and won the game. Total enigma

His name will morph into Maker Bayfield in the history books.
