I'm on the fence for renewing. You make a good point that if they do decide to make the membership better, it will be easier to renew.

I think thats unlikely given Topps is minimizing the club, but they are hard to predict.

I talked to the topps rep and if you make another account with the same address as the Montgomery club it will get flagged.

I could be wrong and this year will be the best ever but the things that made me lean towards not renewing include the fact that all of the releases listed where MC members will get access early should be available for public access and also the fact that public access has better purchase limits. I'm also planning on moving across states next year and don't want to have to deal with changing addresses. Trying to trim down what I have already. Best of luck to everyone who renews.

Also the ridiculous prices they want just because it’s a “sapphire” product.

I renewed - its considerably cheaper and if it sucks this year i just wont renew next year - my son and i love opening product together - so it is worth it to open good product with him and have fun - great bonding experience - sometimes my youngest daughter likes to help find the SPs as well bvy looking at the tiny numbers on the back of the cards.

Worst case - i threw away 150 - i have burned more buying F1 sapphire this year...

Renewed. Easy decision. If it's a debacle this year, unlikely to renew for 2024, but that's a decision to be made in 10-12 months

Renewed with the hope that Topps has listened to our complaints and will offer MC members higher purchase limits and/or special pricing compared to the public sale for the guaranteed early access products. Expecting to be disappointed though…

#1 --- in the renew window:
Limited Membership Availability!

#2 --- in the T and S
Topps may choose to send additional products or information to members as part of and related to their membership in the club.

So, the floodgates may not be open and we get a few surprises along the way?
