Upper Deck AEW set details revealed... and it's kind of brutal!!!

Somebody must have liked that deal because it is showing sold out now. But I agree, this set was massively over produced. Between retail, epack and hobby I think this will be available to open for many years to come. As far as we know it’s still being printed lol.

Great card, but also shows one of my issues with ePack. How many low serial/popular autographs are currently sitting in Upper Deck's system as an ePack card? Will those cards ever be put into packs or will they just eternally sit in the overpriced ePack system until they sell out one day? I understand the appeal of ePack but I don't like it for products that also have a physical release.

I agree. And also they justify their prices as "market" but never seem to lower them when the market shifts. Id actually buy epack at $75/box

They'll discount it eventually but I wouldn't count on them popping up anywhere else. I never knew how many huge hits were in Epack until I started coming here but I mean I thought the concept is for people who don't have a physical LCS near them or access, so them not doing products with a physical release or making less hits for Epack than physical would go against the whole idea.

I don't like Epack because since there's not a guy sitting there opening packs as you pay who is to say the algorithm doesn't recognize higher spending accounts and give them bigger hits? No one trusts breakers but trusts Upper Deck automated epack system to be fair lol

Finally finished ripping my lot of boxes. MJF /5 auto in the last box was quite the grand finale.

I have used epack sparingly. One thing that upset me which didn’t seem to cause others to be alarmed—when Luka Doncic thrived as a rookie, they went back and put an autograph of his into their 2nd year Euroleague product that wasn’t selling well apparently…super shady there

I'm not a big spender, but for Agents of SHIELD I hit autos of Chloe Bennet, Elizabeth Henstridge, Ming-Na Wen, Dichen Lachman, and Mallory Jansen, some big autos for that show. Cloak and Dagger got me Olivia Holt. Meanwhile I haven't hit auto 1 in all the AEW packs I've bought.

Thanks. We were freaking out when we hit it.

I had 10 boxes total from release and opened a couple whenever my brother and sister visited to watch a PPV. Big hits other than MJF was /25 auto for mox, /25 auto for stratlander and a 1/1 Bunny. Pretty crazy how little color I got in my 10 boxes. A couple /99 in my first 3 boxes, both swole and then never hit anymore.
