Picked up my first Brady RC. I remember ripping tons of Metal with my friends when I was a kid and none of us ever got him.

What were previous sales bringing for an 8.5?
Looks like the BGS 8 will end around 300k-350k judging by these prices.

To me 350k for BGS 8 is still INSANE.

I remember the guy trying to get $5,000 for A Champ Ticket Brady BGS 8 here on Blowout and no one bought it maybe 3-4 years prior to pandemic.

The downside is HUGE. Dont get greedy. The market corrections we are seeing is due to overall economy, COMBINED with all the manipulation+ newbies that were paying ridiculous levels for higher end stuff. Nick Fiorellas of the world. I like Nick a lot, and his kid, but theyhurt the hobby a LOT from perceived price value persective,paying huge sums for these cards during 2020-21.

Trick is dont get greedy looking at old prices. Its a new world today in the sportscard market.The sooner we all accept that, the better.

I personally think we've reached the bottom for the championship tickets unless something crazy happens in the economy.

The 2002 Super Bowl MVP patch auto went for 18k

Also, the Authentic Championship ticket with a 9 auto went for 336k

Actually, that exceeded my expectation being just an AUTH. I was thinking no more than 250k at best.

Exceeded mine as well. Ultimately I guess people are thinking there are only 100 of these. Risky proposition trying to resub that hoping for a grade though.

BGS 8.5 championship tickets Brady rookies were selling as high as $1.6 million in April 2022.

That would be wrong because mine sold for 2 million in March of 2022. I'm not sure if there was another one before that which sold for over 2 mil but as far as I know, mine was the highest.

I take that back it was February, not March. The only reason I put it up in February was just in case he won the superbowl. Turns out he didn't but retired instead.

Correct your 2 million sale is the highest I now recall. I think 2 sold in 2021 for 1.7 million each I believe in heritage and pwcc.

Yeah silly to sell at this time Champs up every month and tanking economy. Authentic very impressive price. I will just hold until I get at least a million thankfully I have a lot of runway 10+ years before I shut it down and send to auction hopefully we’re in a better spot.
