Allure is just not well received in hockey. I think that is a product that could be cancelled.

There are some nice cards.

I'm not a big fan of having a regular rookie and a rookie sp of the same player in the base set (I would be fine with only the regular rookie), also, not crazy on the stickers and the photoshoot jerseys.

But, some parallels like the Orange Slice are among the nicest looking cards of the season.

Sure he's not everyone's cup of tea and some of his commentary is a bit outrageous but IMO a lot of his takes are bang on. He knows hockey and the hockey market here in Canada.

I put him on ignore a long time before he was banned. He joined grade on my list, who also got a timeout!

Dont watch too many Canadiens games but Im watching him today. He looks good, he has that "it" factor that a guy like Kaprizov has. When he is on the ice, you see good things happen.

Yes, I would assume so. Would it expect it to largely have the same rookies that are in UD S1 and S2 and certainly the key ones like Caufield.

I'm going to wait and see what the Black Friday deals bring. I can't imagine 2021 UD S1 getting any cheaper but, even if not, I may pick up some more hobby to stash.

Probably more so because of the print run. If anything, the condition issues bode well for sealed for the long-term because there will be less gem mint cards in circulation than if no condition issues.

They must have printed a metric ton of s1 (k13 would be proud if he were here). Im seeing at below wholesale cost even on retail sites, and the B2B sites are basically giving it away.

Yeah I'm sure they did. But, everything has a price. If Caufield pans out in a big way, it's probably going to end up a good deal at these levels. Obviously no guarantee at all that happens. But, I'm willing to gamble a little.

Sealed wax of S1, if Caufield and Zegras become superstars will be a great hold. Unfortunately the condition is horrendous. Those who have PSA 10 copies will see huge gains. The Gem rate has been in the 25-35% range for S1

Low gem rate or not, it’s still a high pop card. If you’re gonna invest in his cards, do it because you think he’s a great player and not because of any low Pop/gem rate/QC reason.
