Average numbers were greatly boosted/skewed by his 2 homerun rushes last week. And the Lions may be as dismal as the Texans in terms of stopping the run (ranked 2nd to last).
In other words, zero chance he eclipses even 1500 on the season based on variances in opponent strengths and game scripts. I could see him averaging around 7x. Rough defensive stretch starting late November, so we'll see.

After the first 18 starts of his career most people here and in the hobby thought he was a bust. He has two great rushing games against terrible defenses and now he’s going to run for 2k yards ? Up until those games he was averaging 53 yards per game. He’ll eventually be back to averaging 50 yards per game which is good for a QB. He’s definitely not going to average 178 yards per game over the next 7 games which is what he needs to get to 2000.
