Auburn has paid roughly $37 million in football head coach buyouts in the past 687 days. That's ~$54,900 per day.
Is this good?

This doesn't include Scott or anyone else canned since Oct 5th.

From https://www.axios.com/2022/10/05/col...ll-buyout-boom

By the numbers: The five universities that have fired their coaches this season — all Power 5 programs — owe them a total of $56.7 million in buyout money.

Scott Frost, Nebraska ($15 million buyout)
Karl Dorell, Colorado ($11.4 million buyout)
Geoff Collins, Georgia Tech ($11.3 million buyout)
Paul Chryst, Wisconsin ($11 million buyout)
Herm Edwards, Arizona State ($8 million buyout)

Wow, I hope one day I can suck at my job enough that someone will pay me that much to go away.

What would it take to get Jimbo fired? How badly do they have to finish? At 3-6 currently with a real possibility of 4-8, 5-7.

The recruiting trail is apparently losing steam for them as well.

A&M gonna give him a mulligan and then fire him next year if he doesn't hit 9 or 10 wins?

Hmm...not exactly a firing. Does Oregon keep Dante Moore, their prized QB recruit?

So Matt Rhule gets 8 years $72 million from Nebraska. Carolina is laughing that Nebraska offsets everything they still owed to him.

Tim Lester out at WMU. Mixed results for him following Fleck. Tough season this year and he couldn't survive the losing record.

Deion Sanders taking over at Colorado seems like it's going to be a lot of fun.

Better choice than USF I’d think
