I'm not sure if I am a fan of the 3 game wild cards. There was something special about the 1 game elimination.

If there is a game 3, Rays will need Klubot to pitch like how he did when he called Cleveland home.

Three game wild card series are more "fair" since a team can't get hosed based on one game where they couldn't pitch they ace.

I am sure that I like the three game series. Much more balanced and it kinda gives the teams who get a bye an advantage because the wild card teams would have played at least 2, if not 3, extra games.

At least we don't have to witness any cheap wins in extra innings due to the man on second garbage rule during the playoffs seeing as how the Tampa - Cleveland game is heading there.

Cleveland will also need Kluber to pitch that way. His last four playoff starts over three years in Cleveland...17 ER in 15 IP.

yeah I mean...I hear your points. From my memory most of the wild card single elimination games were pretty close.

Im not a fan of the ghostrunner...but can we change the rules just for today? The Broncos/Colts Thursday night game was more entertaining at this point.
