Default 1985 Donruss Error Cards?

I just came across some strange 1985 Donruss cards. They are black & white and look like proof cards, but the fronts and backs are different. I've included one here. Front is Steve Yeager but back is Roland Biancalana, Jr. I have a second card with the same Steve Yeager front but with a Robert James Reynolds back. Three of the cards have the same Cleveland Indians player on the front, but each has a different back. These are very strange. Any ideas regarding origin, rarity, value?

Could be early progressive proof cards made by the printing company to make sure the press was aligned properly.

Makes it even more interesting, as each clearly states: © 1985 LEAF-DONRUSS.

All 1986 Donruss cards have that copyright. Back in the day, cards used to come out before Christmas.

Yeah, they were printed in 1985, and therefore copyrighted then, since the 1985 season was complete.

I appreciate the responses regarding the copyright. I never collected cards from that era, so I didn't know that.
