Got a reply from NOW about Yankees auto sets...
"Nothing for the Postseason sets - saving the autographs for hopefully what will be some historic homers and possible postseason moments/awards!" |

interesting....i wonder if that means contractually they have Judge to only sign X amount of autos per year and are holding out on that instead of putting him and/or others in the postseason set.

Well, wondering what the Plats will be able to buy out entirely at least.

I'd love a shot at getting tomorrow's #700 HR Pujols Auto Card to join my below Albert cards. I am a clector and would love to add the card to the PC!

Well this came out of nowhere…
![]() ![]() Dear Platinum Members, MLB history was made last night in Los Angeles - very fitting for a Hollywood-type story that has been building up all season long! St. Louis Cardinals designated hitter Albert Pujols had a multi-homer game for the 61st time in his illustrious career, hitting career home runs #699 and #700. Pujols connected on his first homer in the night in the top of the third inning - a two-run shot that opened up the scoring for the evening. The 50,041 at Dodgers Stadium and millions more tuning in around the world didn't have to wait long for #700 to fly over the outfield wall, as he went deep once again in the fourth off of Dodgers reliever Phil Bickford. The 42-year-old is the fourth player in Major League history to reach this 700-homer milestone, joining Barry Bonds, Hank Aaron and Babe Ruth. To commemorate this incredible statistical achievement, we are honored to offer up the following cards today: Albert Pujols /99 - Autographed card /49 - Autographed card /25 - Autographed card /10 - Autographed card /5 - Autographed card Please reply with your reservation requests by 12:00 p.m. EST and please provide any alternate parallel selections in the case that lower numbered parallels are sold out. Thank you for your support and we hope you have a great day! The Topps NOW team Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by Platman; 09-24-2022 at 08:38 AM. |

thanks for the info. im gonna guess #/99 is gonna start at $500, but there's at least a chance they make it to the public with the card count. Shame they couldnt get a relic also, but oh well.
im sure that #/10 will be gone in a heartbeat though. |

I bet its much higher. Gotta remember, an unproven rookie like Julio has base autos starting at $400. I bet Topps cranks this one way up.

Yes, the /10 red color match will be fully reserved, I'll eat my hat otherwise. I suspect the /5s will be gone too, they usually have been recently on the big cards.
Obviously there's precedent for them increasing a player's prices during the season (see, e.g., J Rod), but here's what they charged two weeks ago for his only other autos so far this season (there were no /99s hence the N/A): September 11, 2022 881 Albert Pujols Auto N/A 499 749 999 1249 2999 https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...5PHPyq4N3inQY/ |
