I grabbed a box of these on release just because it was impossible to find any sealed wax to open at the time & I kind of liked gpk as a kid. Decided not to open it & stashed it away and forgot about it instead. Came across the box again the other day and couldn't believe how much these are going for. Looking at recent singles sales I don't see much besides the big adam bomb cards going for any kind of money. Is there much else you can pull to justify that $1000 box price tag or is the value just in the sealed box?

Yes. The reds and golds in particular are pulling some really good money on eBay.

Time for a little show off. Here’s what I have remaining from the 90 boxes I opened. I saw the value early on. Average cost is probably around $300 a box, maybe a little lower.

I sold a ton and pulled a 1/1 to boot. Sitting on a few boxes and a ~x50 stack of AB base.

ENJOY!!! NFS at this moment.

And the iconic card itself (missing is a green currently in PSA possession):

Nice collection! Have you see the Tracking Database for Sapphire GPK allhits.fartblasters.com? Let me know if I can add your cards (I'll need the numbers on the back.)

There are still 56 pads, 6 red, 1 gold, 1 orange, and of course the 22 missing teals that no one have ever seen.

Big time. The Monty thread has housed the hype. It's def not as high this release since OS1 and OS2 (especially 1) are wayyyy more popular. I really like OS4 though.
