Bad checklist and prices were very high there

As I mentioned if the checklist was bad then of course it wasnt worth buying at the peak prices which stayed there for many months

And I will say it now, at currenr prices its again still not good

Color and numbered stuff seems impossible to hit as well the product is so watered own that numbered cards should be selling for a massive premium cause good luck finding one!

In 9 cases i didnt see a single true gold base card, seen 3 gold waves and a few greens numbered /99 and 1 red wave /5 of a scrub vet.

I seen maybe 8 wanders total in 9 cases and only 2 wander refractors.

So either wander is sp as well but no where near as sp of the 5 sp rookies cause i havent even seen a single one.

This is honestly crazy.
95% of the autos i seen are 28 year old rookies.
I mean i know its topps chrome and all but to see 9 cases busted and not see a single auto of wander, cruz, julio, witt or any big vet and not see a single good numbered rc or sp rc is insane.
Seems from reading the last few pages of this thread the sentiment is the same.

The one jumbo case I saw had a Tork redemption and a Nate Pearson true orange auto. I think the best refractor I saw was an Oneil Cruz prism. It certainly didn't whet my appetite.

Yeaaah you guys were right I got face raped on my jumbo. Nice lil Oneil Cruz Prism Refractor and Nootbaar negative are cool that I’ll probably hang onto. The autos were Connor Wong purple speckle /299, Corey Seabold purple /250, Alejo Lopez base, Juan Yepez base and Zack short base (which I thought was a Tork as I saw the RC and Tiger helmet as I was pulling the card in front of it down) and the non auto color Haniger blue /150 and Jose Ramirez purple /250. Got a Wander regular base in the last pack. But I’ll probably try to dump it before the floods come. Overall quality control was pretty bad most all of it was pretty noticeably off center and littered with print lines here and there (got a Matt Manning Prism with two gnarly print lines)

Not for what I analyzed

Pron some of the worst things happen with the economy/bad checklist etc
And I still managed to make a small profit

Pretty much almost the worse case scenario happened

Oh yeah forgot to add there was 1 orange auto i seen as well in 9 cases it was a zac short auto orange /25. never even heard of him.

I just saw an ad on facebook where Clay Luraschi is calling this the granddaddy of all card releases. He is showing the cards off and has 6 cards and they are all color/Wanders. LOL I wonder how many cases topps had to open to find 6 decent cards.

I liked the POTENTIAL of the product because of
The potential rookies and at January prices

But hey, topps didnt do their part

And yes at the end of the day the product is a dissapointment. And a what could have been

Now its up to those players to perform to get any momentum
