Default 2021-22 Upper Deck Series 2 Case Break

Here are the main highlights:

Young Guns: Quinton Byfield X2, Cole Perfetti X2, Moritz Seider X2, Mason McTavish X2, Lucas Raymond X2, Anton Lundell X2, and Alex Newhook

Young Guns Canvas: Cole Sillinger, Sampo Raanta, Joe Veleno, Cam York, Rasmus Kupari, and William Eklund

Young Guns Canvas Black: Vladimir Tyachev

Canvas Veterans: Ed Belfour and Tie Domi

French Young Guns: Taylor Raddysh and Boris Katchouk

Patrice Bergeron Canvas Program of Excellence

Fluorescence: Lucas Raymond and Karel Vejmelka

Fluorescence Yellow: Grigori Denisenko 25/150

Fluorescence Green: Filip Gustavson 06/15

Pink Dazzlers: Victor Olofsson, Mikko Raantanen, and John Gibson

Exclusives: Pavel Zacha

And the case hit: Lucas Raymond Young Guns Exclusives 082/100

I was surprised to receive two Exclusives as those have been usually one per case for me. I didn't receive any photo variation cards or Clear Cut Young Guns. Quality control was good except one box was short a Young Guns. All in all an awesome case with duplicates of the key Young Guns and the Raymond Exclusives.

Pretty good! The Raymond Exclusives is a big pull, all the others are bonus!

Awesome case. In my opinion, if a person is going to get into hockey with the potential of making a significant amount of money, especially hitting grade worthy cards, upper deck series 2 is by far the best product to break and it is not even close. The rookie young guns crop is very deep and could, I SAID COULD, be one of the best is a very long time.

If available, I still need a Raymond young gun.
Great case break!

I broke 3 cases a couple weeks ago. At first glance the YGs look to be in good condition but after sitting down with a mag and good lighting, I was dissatisfied that many are not in gradeable condition.

I opened mostly retail and under 10X magnification and light only about 6 of the players I was targeting were not grade worthy. The back edges tend to be the big issue.
4 Seider
4 MacTavish
2 Lundell
4 Podkolzin
2 Mercer
2 Sullinger
1 Raymond, he seems to be a tough hit
2 Lundkvist
3 Newhook
2 Tomasino
3 Perfetti
4 Neighbours
2 Byfield
2 Eklund

Based on the PSA submissions so far, Series 1 YGs (looking at Caufield & Zegras) were checking in with about 25% getting a 10. And these are the ones that people thought were gradeable.
Series 2 (looking at Seider and Raymond) show about 75-80% of all submissions getting a 10.
It's possible you're just unlucky on that front. Of course, PSA could be going soft on these early submissions.

I'll be happy with a Raymond with a minor chip.

More retail and have added 2 more McTavish, 2 more Podkolzin and 1 Lundell as the biggest hits. Retail has been very fun. I also hit a Perfetti and Raymond UD Portrait SSP 1:120

A case of tins might be the way to go for the price.
