I was told no one could compete (not beat, "compete") with a team like Ohio State.....

Also, I'm glad for a highly-valued regular season that gives us "intense and unique" games like Alabama currently crushing Utah State 55-0 to start the 2nd half.

I have faith in Beamer, I have no faith in the style of offense we are using. We were 103rd in scoring offense last year.

well SCAR has the best QB they have had in a good while this Season.. might win a couple of more games than they normally do

No you weren't. You took a completely valid point and turned it into an epic strawman argument.

Obviously Nip was not referring to Week 1 rankings. He was referring to the post season. By the time we get to November there are 2-3 teams who emerge. A #12 will never win.

I could link to literally dozens of articles by major sports publications referring to preseason rankings and anointing Alabama, Ohio State, and Georgia as automatic playoff slots.

If he was referring to postseason rankings, then he had every opportunity in the world to clarify. No need to cut slack for someone who struggled to answer direct simple questions.

Sounds like the Gamecocks are really playing Beamer ball. 2 blocked punt tds. Offense still isn't doing much, a TE is the leading rusher.

Huh? Any playoff, whether 4, 8, or 12 teams, is based on final rankings. Why would he need to clarify that? You aren't that dense.
