Meely’s bullet “point” #1 is a common tactic used not only after outright scams but even careless actions. I’ve followed this story closely and the latter is more likely, but it doesn’t change the attempt at deflecting. Implying he’s in the right because “crickets” - good one.

The funniest part is that many of these types sincerely believe the lack of in person confrontation “speaks for itself.” The only meaningful crickets are the ones heard right now.

A busy card show is really conducive to productive conversation surrounding the highest profile card scam in recent memory!

Older cards guys (understandably) let emotion trump reason. It’s why so many of them were butthurt and crying about the National while all the guys I know in their 20’s made $10k+.

I haven’t responded in 3 weeks and you guys are still talking about me, really strange. Really convincing everyone you aren’t just a miserable virgin who comes on Blowout to be an abrasive dickhead.

Considering I have a bachelors degree in finance, wouldn’t touch Bitcoin with a 10-foot pole.

That said, $COIN was up like 82% over the past month, so anyone who didn’t buy it when it was in the $50’s probably shouldn’t be investing. Talk about easy money.

28 and married, pretty sure that’s not Gen Z.

I’m just lucky enough to buy/sell cards full time after working in corporate finance. And every weekend, there are old guys coming up to my tables at card shows and griping about the younger generations/not making money at shows.
