That was a good pick. Sometimes you just don't know.
Didn't it about double once the stock split was announced? I remember it taking off but can't remember how much. That stock had absolute perfection priced in. That along with axing the Arm deal probably didn't help. Still expensive here but probably worth it to sit on for some time at this level.

IONQ up 25% to high $7’s . Still below its $10 SPAC price but nice to see some life.

Those are easy ones in my eyes.

Something that most others don't see coming? BIG but probably not for the next 2-3 years.

It's tough because 2-3 years crosses an election.

about 20% in just over a week. Took half off when I saw it was up 13% at lunch today. Should have bought the last time you mentioned it when it was below $20...

I didn’t know they had done a split. We own it. We just own a very small piece, less than 3% of our entire portfolio.

I’m not going to lie, I’ve been on a pickers roll since the start of the year. It won’t last forever but it’s good to be rewarded when others were getting beaten up.

Think that’s the work of Wallstreet bets. 40%+ short float probably helps too.

Bet it would be fun to nail one of those at the bottom with short dated calls when the IV is still low.

Saudi Aramco had net income of $48 Billion last quarter

AAPL $19.4 Billion
MSFT $16.7 Billion
GOOGL $16 Billion

$4 Billion less than the 3 of those companies combined.

Damn

I'd like to personally thank this thread for ACLS a number of months back.

I'd also point to ON semi which I had, but had to move out of, and missed the run.

They, and Wolfspeed (WOLF) are in a nice market that caters to EV vehicles. Wolfspeed is US based in RTP, NC and in NY, they're a part of Cree who were very big/early in LED's 20+ years ago. Nice US-based semi play into EV in a very technically difficult medium.

WOLF has the only full automated 200mm SiC wafer fab in the country. Not just EVs (although it’s their primary driver). Silicon Carbide wafers are used in all high voltage electrical applications.

Basically any commercial / electrical equipment and machinery have to be fitted with SiC wafers. The market is absolutely massive and only growing and WOLF dominates the SiC market.

I’ve been buying this for the better part of a year and I’ll keep buying it

You're welcome for ACLS. You are also welcome for ON.

I hope you made some good money there.

Just remember, getting the ticker is one thing. Position management is the other. You made money (I am assuming you made money) because you managed the position well.

Take Josh for instance. I dropped NXST out here about a year-18 months ago. NXST was a great pick by me. Josh made real coin because he managed the position. He could have bought it, made 10% and then sold it. Instead, he should be up around 95% or so on it.

I’ve traded CROX a few times in 2021 and I know Jmarch has thrown the name out as well. I think Crocs are some of the ugliest shoes/sandals out there but the company performed well and is really pretty cheap.

Anyway, I’ve always kept on my list and added some down in the 60s. They bought the shoe brand HeyDude. Had never heard of it when it was announced. Ended up ordering a pair last week. These are some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever bought. Incredibly lightweight. The Hey Dude sales growth is above 100% YOY, I see why now. Already going to order a pair for my dad and myself so I can snag the 20% off deal

I’ll co-sign on Crox, the stock. Not the signature footwear, but definitely the stock. It’s been known to be a vector vest reference stock for a few years, anyway.

Thanks, Man. I just bought a pair of the Jo's since they were on sale. I am always looking for a pair of slip ons for the fall to go to the mail box in.

The Musk/Twitter feud keeps getting uglier and uglier…

”Former head of security Peiter Zatko accuses Twitter of “Lying about Bots to Elon Musk” in a whistleblower complaint filed in July with regulators, including the Securities and Exchange Commission, a copy of which was obtained by The Washington Post.

Zatko, a well-known figure in the security community, alleges Twitter is not incentivized to tally the true number of bots and spammy accounts on the service, which counts 238 million daily users. And he lays out another argument that could give Musk a potential boost in his fight to prove Twitter broke its contract when he agreed to acquire the company for $44 billion: that Twitter deceived regulators regarding its defenses against hackers.”

Hope you like them. I actually wore mine to work. Not the most professional shoe but way more comfortable than my dress shoes. Hell, our President wears a suit with hiking shoes.

I like XOM for a month into earnings. Chart looks beautiful and I see a seasonal pattern for oil from Mid August to late September.

Probably anything in that sector should work.

Hey Dude has been around a while. Several of their shoes have 40-50,000 reviews on Amazon. FYI, most are on sale there too.

Damn, actually a bit cheaper on there. Thank you for mentioning that.
I honestly didn't even think to check on Amazon.

At least I let a company I own stock of put more to the bottom line?
