Maybe they are changing over the entire website to that new hideous logo and color combo, so that new leadership can drive the business into the ground, by removing decades of brand awareness among an ever-present market of fakes and wanabees

Well the website is up nothing really works yet as far as the pop report, it's clear that the new slabs are in fact the new slabs and are not the "prototypes" that people were stating.

That website is stupid. Was thinking of sending some cards for the heck of it.
Too much pop ups, cookies, weird questions. GIANT POP UPS and cut off pages. wtf?

Anyone know if we can still send a psa 10 graded card to beckett for a minimum grade 10? Thought i read that that was no longer allowed

Wow….. I feel like every asset they have is being erased! Subgrades set them apart for a lot of collectors… so they reduce that feature. People liked their nice flips with white/silver/gold/black… so they go with cheap paper and destroy their continuity of over 20 years.

They were, in my mind, the luxury brand. More precise grading, fancy flips, fancy slabs, high price point. Now they are in a hurry to weaken their product, maintain or raise their prices, and in a more competitive setting! This is like a master class on how to destroy a business…

Well, the one feature I liked most about BGS (my player registry) is shot now. Who the hell wants all their grades cards to look different…. Do these people even think through what they are doing?

How long does it typically take BGS to mark an order as received? My order was delivered August 3. I used their online order form for this order.

Sorry in advance, I'm just always nervous/impatient when an order is in flux.

It's been 5-10 business days for me, from orders sent in the last 3 months.

Here is hoping the move to the new facility doesn't slow things down. I have an express order dropped off 7/7 that I haven't gotten yet. They now say on the website Express is 5-8 business days.

I subbed a card for reholder on 7/27
Received: 8/2

It says Premium service which I didn't select. It also shows they charged me, but under Estimated Date is just has the link to the estimated times. If they really did reholder it using premium service it should be done by now. Emailed and called with zero response. A bit nervous as the card is getting a black label, and it's a pop 1.

yeah those new times are not even close. I'm in the same boat but with a standard order which has been there longer than the estimated turnaround times.

I really hope the move did not mess with things, but i can almost guarantee it did.

Well they were subbed by my LCS and they hand delivered it on the 7th (we are local here in Dallas) I reached out to them and they said with Jordan Auto's it sometimes takes a little longer because they get so many counterfeits. Seemed a little sketch to me but if they don't pop on the report this week I'm going to begin to be worried.

A couple months ago, I sent my first order to BGS in over 20 years. It was a 4 card Economy level sub, and the cards were marked as received on 6/13/22. I just saw that my credit card was charged today for the full cost of the submission. Does that mean that the cards will be graded soon? I’m used to that with PSA, where once the invoice comes, you know the cards will be coming soon, but I wasn’t sure how it works with BGS.

I was charged on 8/10, but BGS order history only says invoiced since.

and of course its a Nice Tatis lol
Topps Vintage Stock RC /99 most likely a BGS 9.5 with 9 corners

Would have def sold it right away.. So this one month delay isnt good

Unfortunately not. BGS charges upfront, while PSA charges at the end. BGS does not have any upcharges for value of cards after grading while PSA does. This is the reason for why they are charged when they are.

in my experience, cards will back within 2 months after charge

Thanks for the info! If I get these back in 2 months, I think that would be reasonable for the level that I sent them at.

Dang! yours went quick. My standard order got checked into BGS on 7/12 and still no updates (besides "Moved to Repository")

Maybe I should be happy it's taking a while so i dont have the same grader as you from the sounds of it. haha

Did anyone drop off any cards for grading at Beckett at the national? If so have they even checked in your account yet? I dropped off some cards at national for grading but haven't even been checked in yet.
