Possibly PSA has rookie graders doing the $18 special so it is pushed thru fast.
$30 for another group of graders
$100+ subs for experienced graders.
Express for most experienced graders.

We all just standing in the wrong line like when we go shopping. Why is it the other line always goes faster. haha

*We need self check out and grading next by PSA. Results will probably be better and more consistent than recent PSA rookie graders.

Lol what a great analogy. BTW I ALWAYS pick the worst line, it's a gift really.

The $18/card orders are moving faster. I have a $50/card order sent at the same time moving slower.

If the grades are decent, I don't mind. I only get prickly when I get hosed.

I did the same thing. Eventually the $50 order passed the $18. The $50 is now in QA2 with the list gone and the $18 is in QA1

Wonder if anyone would have luck getting PSA to price match their $20 subs from early 2021 to $18 since they're being beaten. Knowing PSA customer service though they won't do anything.

They gave the update on the last PSA Pod episode. Its in the first five minutes if you want to listen. They also firmly reiterated that the $18 July Specials would NOT ship until the entire COVID backlog is cleared which was also worth a good chuckle since that clearly isn't the case.

Nah, i am the champion of wrong lines.

The lady in front of me pulls out 100's of coupons and pays by check.

Does anyone remember how much value level costed up to DV of $499 was before the backlog? Just curious if $30 is good to send in a couple cards. Thank you

Modern was $20/card
UM was $25/card

Not sure what Vintage or TCG were but think they might have been $20/card as well.

Yep. My last backlogged order is TCG at $20 per card. At least 10 of the 50 cards might not even profitable, even with a 10 grade. That's how bad early Sword & Shield has fallen. Thankfully, I saw the writing on the wall and stopped buying less popular characters after that order.
