Good.

These blow in fans following KD can exit with him. Marks turned the franchise around and I trust him

And yes, Kenny Atkinson should have been backed as well. He dealt with a lot of crap and was rewarded with a nice firing

KD for Jack Ma and Griner.

Alibaba stock soars and KD gets to experience a desolate life without twitter beef.

Was my favorite player and PC player when he was in OKC. That core could have gotten over the hump and won a championship.
Disappointed in way he left to GS and he just keeps diminishing his legacy.

Is it a hot take if I say Durant is overrated at this point?

He then plays 35 games in year two of the deal, but comes within a toe nail of getting the team to the ECF. The Nets reward him with a 4 year $200 mil plus max extension.

KD then really mans up and plays 55 games last season before getting pants in round one by Tatum.

His response? Demand a trade. When that doesn’t work? Demand the GM and coach (the same team to give him that max extension) be fired.

And he’s doing all this while whining on Twitter about any 12 year old who makes fun of him.

If I were an NBA GM I wouldn’t even pick up the phone if the Nets called.
Durant is basically a punk.

Based on raw skill/talent? No.

As a leader? Yes.

I suppose I should've clarified...at this point it's clear he's not a leader and doesn't make players around him better. He's a great talent, but not a great NBA player.

What did he win with a young stacked OKC team and a front-loaded Nets team?

Seriously? You mean when KD almost single handed carried the Nets past the eventual champs because Kyrie/Harden were both hurt in the ONE postseason those 3 guys were together? That's your argument? (Then the next year Kyrie Kyrie's and Harden quit again)

Or the Thunder team that was highly competitive until he left? A selfless player like KD makes people around him better. He didn't need to hog the ball like a Russell Westbrook. Your logic is just foolish and flawed.

On the Basketball court? Yup. You must not actually watch the games.

Yeah. Joe Tsai is done giving in to Kyrie/KD.

Kevin Durant is an all time great no matter what people think of him. Off the court, he is a head case that gets his feelings hurt way too easily.

Correct. Maybe he's not the alpha people wanted/expected him to be. But that doesn't mean he's not a great NBA player.

Not everyone has to be either Bill Russell or MJ to be considered "great."

And yes, KD is way too sensitive off the court.

This whole Nets saga is comical and should be a case study for other franchises. There were several chances for this to go right for them and for one reason or another it didn't happen.

Signing DeAndre Jordan when they had Allen to appease Kyrie and KD, fire Atkinson because he wanted to play the better center, blessed the Nash hiring, blew it all up for Harden, then had to move him because of all the disfunction, and now issuing ultimatums. Just a complete mess

Would be best for the NBA if he is not traded. What a baby.

Nah Simmons never reached kd levels. I dont know if its partly these guys being in their 30s and realizing while still great, they're no longer the alphas in the league. Bos made kd look old in the playoffs.
