Seems to be a lot of virtue signalers in this thread. Especially coming from old dudes who will take advantage of people at shows and sell for 2-3x comps. But Meely is the devil because it involves an amount of money that 99% of you can’t touch.
Hope he sees this bro.

If he knew they were fake from the beginning, I would say he’s a total scumbag. I’d just like to think he wouldn’t be that foolish. Seems we disagree though.

Please let us know how you know that he didn’t think/know it was fake at the beginning.

I missed the part where I said I knew that. You seem to have a tough time with basic reading comprehension.

IIRC, Rattle figured that Meelypoops and CardTurdhuna bought the case for a little over $100k. Probably more than 1% of us here have that liquidity at our fingertips.

Meelypoops has elected to be a moron, because that’s the lesser of two evils.
And the people who still want to leave doubt that they were fooled might be the biggest morons of them all in this story.

Uhh....this is not mission accomplished.

An abundance of people 1) now know about this story and more important 2) know much more detail.

If you think this thread is a positive for meelypops, you should probably take your head out of the sand.

Most definitely is mission accomplished from the point of view of getting attention. Some people are very odd. Some folks get a kick out of being the center of attention (good or bad). It’s a psychological thing.

Look at us all in here talking about the guy and what he did.

Sucks for him that it is mostly all bad but he is well aware that we have him on our minds enough to come in here and chat up a storm about it.

I’m not saying that was his intention originally but heck it’s not a far off assumption given all that we know.

No reason to be condescending on something that’s a matter of opinion. Not sure why you’re constantly so abrasive.

Especially coming from the guy named after a GOT character. Might as well announce to everyone you’re still a virgin too.

Not condescending.

Good jokes though. Never heard those here before. You’ve hurt my feelings and now I won’t come back.

Love all the people who think a 1st Edition Base case would sell for around $100k when boxes were selling for over $350k at the time. A sucker born every minute I guess.

I actually saw some nice stuff at the show that looked promising, looked up and saw Meelypops sign and kept walking. Even if they were legit duped by the original seller the way Meely and Cardkahuna attacked Rattle in DMs was enough for me to not want to do business with either of them.

BBCE on the other hand is just greedy, incompetent and fraudulent and it's amazing that they haven't lost any sort of credibility at all but it's clear that people will defend when they have a vested interest in items they have authenticated. A lot of Sports guys don't care that they defrauded the Pokemon community at all which is pretty sad.

So, with the National coming to a close, how many friends did SmellyPoops make?

I'm guessing the O/U is 4.5

Did BBCE have their new Harley out on display? Like a museum piece, see the motorcycle that GI Joe packs bought?

Because it gets reactions. A few people on here need the blowout forums because they're so obsessed with the attention they get.

Are these the actual prices?

I knew it was some shady ebay deal from Canada but if it was THAT much of a discount then it's hard to believe 2 card experts really got duped like that.

Yeah but he's always been really nice while he's taking your money at his booth at the National, so he's innocent.

Cardkahuna tried to claim he paid seven figures for it. Because if he revealed the real price, nobody would have believed it was real. The initial eBay auction went for less than $75k. A moderately higher price was agreed to by the buyer. But the deal fell apart when the seller would not allow local pickup, payment by cashier’s check, or opening of the case to confirm legitimate contents. It is assumed meelypoops and kahuna paid around $100k.

Edit: Actually found in the old thread that they paid $850k for it. Price was supposed to be $1.3 to $1.8M contingent upon staying sealed versus opening and being legit, but that’s what was exchanged. So well under market regardless of how you cut it.

Just remember meelypoops first response was to call Rattle a liar and block him. Great guy!

Default Come visit Meelypops at the 2022 AC National

Great National, great people. Tons of traffic. Loved the interactions and catching up with folks. Networked a ton and can’t wait to see BO family again next year in Chicago. Apologies for not posting everyday, it was crazy and I was prioritizing my team/meetings/deals/meetups. Lost my voice as well which seems to happen every year.

To all of you who we interacted with, thank you for coming by. It always humbling meeting up with so many of you who have followed us and encouraged us in the hobby.

In regards to all the noise in this thread, here are some quick notes/facts that many of you should consider…

1) I was 100% ready to discourse with people who simply wanted to hate / pass negativity / leave comments / had questions. I was happy to provide a simple smile and share the truth…something that nobody seems to want. I even asked people to stop by the booth in this thread. I would have welcomed whatever you wanted to talk about, even if negative, yet NONE of you came by and said anything. Literally crickets. I think that speaks for itself. Keep believing all the conjecture, mistruths & lies all you want.

2) From Day 1 of learning the contents of the case were not authentic, we have been working with Shyne’s legal team and paid every dollar back within that week via escrow and did everything the right way. Many of you seem to forget all of that and take the deep dive in the pit of opinions & click bait. Everything about this statement below (linked) is fact and truth, believe what you want, but here is my statement & shyne’s from
January…

https://www.instagram.com/p/CY7prsls...d=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

3) Almost everything mentioned about me & my brand in this thread is false. I don’t know where these stories come from, but they are wild. I’m a grown man who understands we live in a time where slander / fake news is what people want. It’s sad, but that’s reality of it all. You don’t want truth.

4) I made the biggest mistake of my life trusting someone I barely knew last Spring on what I believed was the holy grail find. I learned an extremely tough lesson. I’m now out 1/4 million dollars (that’s a fact). I trusted the primary authenticator for PSA Pokémon packs (BBCE) and their expertise to do diligence on a case (that’s a fact) in which I spent $$$ that I have not received back (another fact). I could keep it rolling, but people seem to not want the facts…

I’m not going to converse in this thread any longer, feel free to DM if you would like. I think the national forum should be about the National and the amazing hobby community, not drama and lies. In saying that here is just a few quick photos of folks and interactions from the week. Thankful for you all.

For those of you who spoke up for us in this thread or in general, it means more than you will ever know. Thank you
