Default Inquiry for a Comic collection...

Good morning. Does anybody know a valid, current resource for comic prices, mainly issues printed from 2008-2011? I have a collection that is all variant covers in that time period both Marvel and DC. Some CGC, and some CGC SS. All bagged/boarded and been stored securely. Have not even inventoried what I have in quite awhile. I did some small searches on ebay off for a few I know but my searches showed zero sold for a few in the last 3 months. I have a gamut of titles and different ratio variants from 1:20 to 1:200. Just whatever caught my eye for 3 years straight and the MCU had only had a few movies by then. I did bank (could have made more lol) on 6 covers of Spawn 185.

Anyways, as I continue to liquidate my collectibles, I need a good source for approximating comic sale prices. Google did not help like I had hoped. Tried a couple free websites but the searches I did were empty.

Thank you for any info that can be shared.

Take care.

For reference I'd use the Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide. The newest edition comes out in August.

LMK if you have any Batman variants that you're parting with

Thank you for that suggestion. So are most variants priced in there? Or is there a multiplier reference based on the base covers?

Subscribe to gocollect for a premium subscription. It's $9 a month and will give you the latest sale data for cgc/cbcs books including variants. It's well worth it and has saved me a bunch when hunting for books.

Thank you hocasio2. Helpful info I will keep referenced.

Started finally going through the closet collection. Quite educating. Never seen such a collection. Ever been through your own comic collection after many years? Amazing what I purchased in a 3 year span. Lots of variants that did not appreciate but some surprises too. Spawn 189 sketch variant and Ultimate Spider-Man #1 Pichelli variant to name a couple of pleasant finds.
